Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Reviews
Sigh...I have to edit my review. After putting nearly a hundred hours into this game after picking it back up a little while ago, I can't justify not recommending it and have to give it a thumbs up. The music is so good, the graphics so appealing, and most of all, there is SO much stuff to do and see, again, easily put 100 hours into. There's also so much satisfaction in unlocking all the different techs, characters, and abilities, and so many ways--nearly infinite ways--to mix them up for optimal playing that I have to give the developers a tip of the hat, rescind my earlier nasty words, and recommend this game. However, my earlier critique still stands--it's really unpleasant how obscure the timeskip mechanic is. If they added a meter or counter so you could keep tracks of when timeskips occurred that would be PERFECT. As it is I HAVE to recommend Cary Martell, the RPG Fanatic's guide for it. It's on Google Docs and also it's VERY comprehensive and lists absolutely everything so I don't want to spoil anyone by linking it, but just look it up and you'll find it. I highly recommend following his guide to the letter the moment you pick this game up instead of YOLO'ing it like I do. In the absence of a timeskip meter it will make your first playthrough MUCH less frustrating than mine was. OLD REVIEW: Really wanted to enjoy this game, and for the first 10 hours or so it was very very good. Unfortunately, I wish I could return it though it's too late now. There's a timeskip mechanic it has that's completely obscure unless you're using an FAQ which locks you out of massive portions of the game, classes, quests, EVERYTHING unless you follow one of the guides religiously. It's incredibly frustrating and there's no indication whatsoever about which quests will progress the "story" and give you a random player character after you get Gerard. Ridiculous, I don't know why they ruined an otherwise excellent remake with this.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 2: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.78/day in the week to Aug 4 → 2/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Easily the most accessible SaGa game.
Insanely underrated game! Ppl who ponder whether to buy new Octoptah 0, buy this instead and enjoy job system, weaknesses like in Octopath (with no breaks) but more fun weapons, more classes, more chance based abilities, evolving town and being able to go back to school to take exams at Your leisure AND You are emperor!:) No random encounters but some maps are so packed of enemies that it is kind of hard to avoid them. But since new talents are behind the grind wall You kind of want to do these mob fights and since fights yield money You kind of want to do these mob fights even more
