Rocket!

A fun game, a lot like Asteroids meets a roguelike with tons of upgrades.

It's a nice astroids game with quite a few modes in it. I only tried the classical mode out but it has a lot of modes like arcade, co-op, pvp, and even a survivors mode which I couldn't figure out how to unlock. It has potential!

If you're a fan of high-score chasers, instant gratification, fast and insane gameplay, and the ability to quickly pick it up in-between your daily routine... this is it! Rocket! is one of my favorite games of 2024; it just does everything right and it's only getting better with updates. The developer is also very responsive. You can tell this is a labor of love. Buy it for yourself and buy it for your friends!

This is such a janky game. The controls are floaty and unresponsive, there's no targeting reticule or indicator of the direction the ship is aiming, the enemies spawn and attack with no telegraphing or warning, almost nothing is actually explained to the player in terms of mechanics, and the music, visual style, and UI is all over the place. The screenshots and trailer make it look polished and sleek, but even from the first minutes you can tell the actual core, fundamental gameplay is flawed.

Really nice game, I recommend! Lots of weapons and game options, quite enjoyable.

Graphically it is nice, but the controls are so awful that the game is practically unplayable. If the developer will improve the controls (and the direction of the ship, and the collisions), I might even change my mind.
