Great game for both solo and multiplayer. Great on the deck since you can take it to play with friends and do the single player roguelike mode with level based structure and short games. The variety of robots keeps gameplay fresh and the unlockable lore and robots will keep you coming back. The simple controls (theres like 4-5 buttons you need) it makes pick up and play easy. Overall its completely worth the price

This is the best iteration of an NBA JAM game I've played in a long time. I saw that it was on sale so i decided to get it on a whim. Did some light YouTube reviews to see how the game was and I decided no to get too far into what it was and just give it a chance with an open perspective. This game has taken its deepness to another level and I can honestly appreciate it for its creativity and overall good game play and game concepts. I do wish this game has online support but hay i think this game gives you much more than what your willing to bargain for and i never write reviews but I know if i did it would be for a game like this. 10/10 in my books... Overall a solid 8.7-9/10 in the grand scope of all videos games.

Haven't played for very long, but the short amount of time that i have played was very fun and I can't wait to play with some friends. If you're interested slightly pick it up!

Criminally underrated, awesome party-sports game. Definitely worth a buy for the solo co-op, or PVP!

WILL UPDATE REVIEW LATER AS I PUT MORE TIME IN. Rougelite NBA JAM (2v2 Basketball) except no shots only DUNKS. The characters you play as are a variety of robots built out of something like Legos then submitted to the Devs to be 3D models. The lore for most of them is as ex-war or ex-construction robots being repurposed to entertain the world with the power of DUNKING. As a result you also have a variety of guns and other weapons attatched to the robots to stop each other from DUNKING. You gain money from successful attacks on opponents and dunking which you then use to unlock levels on your robots, buy new robots, or unlock potential temporary buffing modifiers for the rougelite portion of the game. If or when you lose a match you lose all of the potential temporary buffing modifiers, but the difficulty of and money earned from matches goes back down unless you pay to unlock the teleporter. DUNKS can be done at 4 levels each scoring 1 point per level each of which requiring a different level of charge. You cannot shield when you charge a DUNK so it's a risk vs reward thing. You can Shield in the air during the DUNK which is needed to stop enemies from tackling you out of the DUNK midair. Alternatively you can pass to your partner while they are mid-air and they can get the dunk that way. This game ultimately seems much for fun if you can manage to find another player for Co-Op but surprisingly you can work around they ally AI or just tag between players for more control.

This game is for a VERY niche audience. People who have friends, enjoy sports games, and have an autistic obsession with Lego robots that can tackle each other in a game of basketball and dunk so mother-♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hard that the hoop explodes. If you fit that description, (I know the having friends thing is hard for you guys) play this game!!!!!!! RoboDunk is a fast-paced basketball game that will have you yelling at your friend, laughing, crying, and looking at the robot designs while thinking, "who the ♥♥♥♥ comes up with Lego robot basketball and then makes these character designs go so hard?!?!?!" However, there are plenty of issues with this game. The content is really skimpy, and if you don't have someone to play this game with then your kinda screwed. Sure, you CAN play the game single player, but then you get to play with a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ computer that doesn't know how to play the game, so you get swamped by the opponent. It's a charming, frantic, awesome couch-co-op experience, but the lack of good single-player stuff just really brings it down a notch. Not to mention all the jank, all the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, and all the balancing issues that make the game not worth the price. Get it on sale. 8/10
