RoboDunk

RoboDunk has greatly exceeded my expectation. It's NBA Jam, except: - Players are replaced with violent robots made of LEGOs, equipped with weapons - In addition to basic player attributes (speed, strength, etc. - which can be leveled up), there is a deep perk progression system - Every point is the result of a dunk, with higher jumps yielding more points (ranging from 1 to 4 point plays) - Instead of jumping to the rafters, you can jump to the moon - Courts are booby-trapped (turrets, robot-launchers, spills, etc.) - There is a deep lore if you get sucked into those. I typically skip these, but enjoy the corniness with this one Controls are smooth and easy to pick up (I use an Xbox controller). Graphics are pretty for what it is. 100% worth buying in my opinion!

This game deserves more love. It's like a lost Gamecube gem. It's just a lot of simple, no bogus fun.

Rougelike + Mario Strikers + NBA Jam + Robots = FUN!!!

I do not typically leave reviews but I just want to highlight how great this game is. Great repeatability, fun and engaging gameplay, and lastly variety. The fact that this game was created by Jollypunch by himself for the most part is astounding. If you are hesitant about getting this because you don't know if you will like it just go ahead and get it while it is on sale because it truly is a fun game. Lastly if you do end up getting the game let people know about it Jollypunch is about to make a release for this game on all consoles sometime in January and any exposure we can get this amazing indie title would surely be helpful to Jollypunch Games. Also to note this game plays amazing on the steam deck played initially on my steamdeck then on my pc and both times the game was flawless with no bugs or hitches. Get this game and thank me later.

12時間程でローグキャンペーンをイージーでクリア アップグレード開放は半分、キャラのステータス向上は使用している奴だけそこそこ 10キャラいるが2キャラはボス。ボスも倒せば使える。 翻訳は丁寧でへんてこなロボ世界ポエムを胸焼けするほど堪能させてくれる。 試合内容はルールとギミックが合わさっていつだってカオスになる。 弾薬なし竜巻など、ウェポンの自動補充はないルールだと、自力補充ができるアップグレード持ち相手に不利になり、試合を避けるか対策が必要だ。 試合はボールを巡ってタックルのぶつかり合いから始まる。パワーの強いロボの方がタックルを潰せて攻撃距離も長い。賢いロボは一旦待って打ち終わりをカウンターだ。 ボールを取って敵陣に走りこむが、追いすがる敵にはシールドを張って撃退する。 安全を確認したらジャンプチャージに入る。長く溜めれば宇宙へ飛ぶほど遠くへ飛べるが、移動も遅くなり無防備に耐えなければならない。相手の遠距離攻撃が飛んでくる予感がしたら、チャージ欲をスッパリ打ち切ってリングへジャンプだ。あとはダンクボタンを押して真っ逆さまにダンクするだけだ。と思いきや敵が負けじと同じ高さまで飛んできた。相手の空中タックルが当たる刹那、こちらは空中バリアを咄嗟に張ってなんとか撃退できた。 タイミングを見極めダンクボタンを押す。最高の瞬間だ。例えそれがスペースダンクじゃなくても。ギリギリのせめぎ合いから生まれたダンクはいつだって満足感を与えてくれる。ダンク イズ ライフ。一度決めればその意味が分かる筈だ。 時にチームメイトを頼るのも良い。アリウープ指示を出して味方にジャンプ指示を出し、自分もチャージして二択戦術をしても良い。混戦から一歩引いて逃げ回り味方のジャンプを待つも良し。アップグレードや固有武装には遅滞戦術に向いたものもある。 ダンクを決めても試合は止まらない。敵陣にフォースフィールドが張られ陣の外に押し出される。そして相手が開始のボールに触れる前からタックル、ウェポンの応酬で出鼻をくじき合うのだ。 ロボ達はレゴっぽく武骨で機能性を追求した姿をしており、そこはかとなくボトムズ味がある。アニメーションはコマ落ちクレイアニメを意識しているのだろう。そこにショボさではなく芸術性を感じてほしい。 対戦に勝ち続けるほど身に着けたアップグレードの数が膨大になり、お祭りバカゲーの様相を呈してくる。それでいて戦術の深さを感じるゲームだ。 一人でも十分楽しいし、もし子供の頃にCOOPでキャンペーンをしたら忘れられない思い出のゲームになるだろう。 最後にこのゲームを熱く紹介プレイしてくれたゲーム配信者のはちみつさんにありがとうと言ってポエムを終えたいと思う。 ------- 20時間を超えてアリウープの使いどころがやっとつかめてきた。益々楽しい。 味方AIは敵AIの強さに比例して賢く強くなり、敵の強さは段階的なAIの賢さによって成り立っている。つまりキャンペーン後半になるにつれて、味方AIも敵AIも賢く強くなっていく。チートじみたアクションはしてこない。CPUと対等感のある珍しいゲームで気に入っている。いつまでも遊べてしまいそうだ。恥ずかしい話、セール買いの自分が珍しく定価で買ったゲームだが期待以上の出来栄えだった。

The game gives me the same vibes and fun as Mario sports games like Super Mario Strikers. Playing against friends is fun and the campaign is also a blast!

This is legitimately such a hidden gem. It's both extremely fun, and unique in it's way of playing. Combine Rugby with Basketball, and add robots each with their own weapon, and modifiers, and you'll find yourself absorbed in a game that is both charming, and becomes progressively more and more insane in terms of speed and just ♥♥♥♥ going on, as the matches progress. I can very highly recommend this, this is a superb game. It controls well, it plays well, it's got charm, and it's just a ♥♥♥♥ load of fun. Honestly it's probably one of the best games on Steam.

Extremely underappreciated and underrated game. Grew up in back in the age where sports games were more about the game than the sport. This game is a return to form for a genre that for some reason has long been dead. This game is oozing with style and satisfaction. There are moments where it did have me screaming "AWW COME ON" but that's the nature of roguelites i'nnit? We need more over the top combat sports games. Highly recommended!

Great game for both solo and multiplayer. Great on the deck since you can take it to play with friends and do the single player roguelike mode with level based structure and short games. The variety of robots keeps gameplay fresh and the unlockable lore and robots will keep you coming back. The simple controls (theres like 4-5 buttons you need) it makes pick up and play easy. Overall its completely worth the price
