Tl;dr - do you want to be Robocop and shoot grunts in the face? This is for you. Do you want a decent enough shooter with tasteful nods to the movies? Also for you. Do you want a layered world with varied combat options, RPG-style tactics and upgrade paths, and a focus on story with Telltale-style choice impact? Maybe reconsider. The great: we're probably never getting a more satisfying game mechanic implementation of Robocop shooting grunts in the face. The combat with the auto-9 is spectacular, and the presentation (music included) is completely in-line with the movies (1 and 2) to any fan's delight with UE5 graphics. This is what needed to work and it TOTALLY works. The good: there's fairly solid side-mission and dialogue writing throughout this. The game does a pretty good job of unique characters that feel completely in the universe of Robocop in terms of cynicism and tendencies. Combat wise, there's a decent enemy variety over the course of the game that keeps you from feeling totally stuck in waves of man with gun. Very charming to go around issuing tickets/warnings for graffiti, smoking, loud-music or whatever else seconds before or after annihilating a shockingly large number of storage unit thieves - if there's a complaint, it's wanting even more of that. The combat ability upgrades are a nice touch, particularly the sprint function, to give you a few cooldown tools when enemies start getting tougher, and while far from the subtle it is nice to have the environmental damage options like gas tanks to explode and chunks of rubble to drop. Sequences like the prison, where you'll meet multiple side mission characters convicted from prior investigations, are super charming and funny. The less good: the actual function of many of these missions does feel repetitive. Go to place, pretend to talk until shooting starts, shoot the guys. A more straightforward approach wouldn't feel as much of an issue if it weren't for the cumbersome skill tree that, outside of combat damage/defense, feels underutilized to say the least. There's some early flirtation with skill checks that's quickly all but abandoned, and actually gaining experience is stuck with largely tedious map-circling checks for evidence that leaves you stuck holding down right-click in Robocop vision. Outside of one early check, I never felt like I was rewarded for anything other than numbers-go-up stat boosting. The game attempts to introduce gameplay modification with the skill trees and computer chips modifying Auto-9, but the chips feel as tedious as the skill trees if not worse. You'll gain less experience for missing any upgrade boxes but it just isn't fun to trawl around the map (especially bland ones like the biker compound). Further, well a lot of the side content is fun, particularly in how it affects certain characters, the main story is pretty forgettable with a dull antagonist and weak climax. There's no Clarence Boddicker in this, not by a long shot, and the main story's attempts to reflect your decisions feels weak at best. I love the Auto-9 combat, but it introduces a problem: all the other guns in this game short of explosives feel like a waste of time. With even basic chips, your main gun has unlimited ammo, great range, can be upgraded to full automatic spray at ridiculous clip-sizes, and even increased gore. Every rifle, pistol and shotgun feels like intentionally using a worse gun for the sake of variety. Clunkier reloads and super-sparse ammo distribution mean that outside of super specific circumstances, sticking to your main weapon always feels better. The outright bad: the boss battles in this are just taxing your patience. The ED-209 units and final boss are unthinking bullet sponges. At times, enemy AI feels dumb, but it's less of an issue for waves of grunts that you're expected to mow down anyway. The ED-209 enemies in particularly feel dumb in a way that admittedly fits the movies, but it's never fun - you're just spamming shots for actual minutes until you finally get to be done with it. It's the same issue with increased combat difficulty - the whole point is mowing people down as a tank, and situations forcing you to use cover feel downright unpleasant. I can't imagine certain sequences of this game on the highest difficulty, like the Shady Meeting sequence against dozens of robots or certain mercenary missions.
на любителя как по мне геймплей однотипный и не интересный так же прикол в конце вообще не уместный
很好,夯爆了。剧情,玩法,画质。
Крутой боевик
Very good game
робомусор творит чудеса
Игрушка не плохая,правда анимации такие пластиковые,особенно персонажей
Very good graphics, gameplay, and story. The whole gameplays feels like mw3 juggernaut suit mission. But robocop walks so slow and he can't even run fast lol
