This game is charming through and through. From throwing perps and heavy items, to the shooting mechanics, the HUD down to the very feel of the city. This game bleeds character and shows a real love for the source material. I think there is something to be said that even annoying archetypes like the news reporter or the overeager new guy rubs off on you in the best way possible. Especially on sale you really don't have a reason not to pick this up if you're a robocop fan or somebody who loves a single player shooter
Very fun to play and decent story. Great for fans of the movie. But there is still a lot of space for this game to improve.
its good
joya, platino 3/10 (dificultad), eres robocop un jodido tanque juego todo hermoso 10/10
RoboCop: Rogue City она как жигули. Запускается с третьего раза.
I don't have much attachment to the RoboCop IP so I went into Rogue City with minimal expectations, and I was surprised by how good this game was. RoboCop is built like a tank and the combat felt great with his iconic sidearm feeling very powerful, and I love that this game rewards you equally for headshots and crotch shots. Getting to roam the streets of Detroit to clean up crime was immersive and I enjoyed the light immersive sim elements of the game in general. The story is solid and feels like it fits right into the RoboCop universe, though the voice acting can be a bit rough at times but it's awesome they were able to bring back Peter Weller to reprise his role as RoboCop. Performance was surprisingly good with only occasional stutters when the game was loading another part of the level, in particular this happened a lot more in the open Detroit areas, and sometimes when loading into a cutscene. Otherwise it was a very smooth experience. My only other real complaints are that RoboCop's understandably slow movement makes wandering the open streets of Detroit and some of the larger levels a bit of a slog, and the bosses are excessively spongey. Plus, the aforementioned quality of the voice acting. These negative aspects don't ruin the experience at least for me, they're just minor gripes towards an otherwise great game. From a mostly outsider perspective, (I've seen the first movie once, I loved it), Rogue City felt like it tried really hard to be respectful and faithful to the original source material while building more into that universe, and is probably a better RoboCop 3 than RoboCop 3 was (based on what I've heard). This is honestly one of the best shooters released in recent years and the light RPG and Immersive sim elements really enhance the immersion of being RoboCop and complete the experience. I think RoboCop: Rogue City is a must play for FPS fans, and if you're also a RoboCop fan then there's no reason to hesitate. It is absolutely worth your time.
Неплохая игра про робоцыпа на разок
Fun and satisfying game that doesn't make you think too hard and offers nice gun play. I was a little put off by the speed with which our lumbering protagonist moves but I got over that pretty quickly and it started to feel natural as I played. The more you level up, the more you feel like an absolute tank which was really fun. I only really disliked the gun selection at certain points with some of the more fun weaponry being available only in the latter part of the game (I didn't have any DLC so I don't know if that could have been addressed with it). I was also a bit confused by the PCB chip modification tool, I maybe missed the tutorial on that but I was able to have a really fun loadout by the end that made my pistol practically an infinite head-shotting machine gun which was a blast! If you need something fun and easy, give RoboCop a spin!
A dream came true for those who grow up in the 80's 90's. Previous robocop games were simply from another era , where it was impossible to give this feeling in a videogame (well, beside the original coin op , a bit). This game might not be exceptional as a game itself, but finally , you're Robocop!
