Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Sep 8 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
“My worst fears have been realized. The damage is more extensive than previously imagined. I must act while there is still time. I must find someone… to send to Riven.”
Enter a deceptively beautiful world torn apart by age-old conflicts, where secrets lie hidden at every turn, and nothing is as it seems. Search through dense jungles, awe-inspiring caverns and monolithic structures. Use your wits and powers of observation to solve devious puzzles and find secretive characters. Only then will you learn the truth about this troubled land and its inhabitants. You must let Riven become your world— before an entire world is lost.

This game still looks amazing 20 years later. Going into it blind is definitely one of the most unforgettable experience you'll ever have.
I haven’t solved a single puzzle — unless I accidentally solved one by randomly pushing buttons and pulling switches — but the environment is so soothing that I just enjoy walking around being confused.

Classic Myst wonderful graphics, a little more complex!
If you haven't played it yet, better to consider the purchase of the 2025 remasterized/extended version, I would think. But...Don't get me wrong: I used to replay joyfully this original version since 1997 until 2025, without getting tired of its already amazing graphics, at the time of its release. Might be the masterpiece of the Myst saga, with slightly harder (but still well-integrated) puzzles than in its siblings. Story, landscapes, sounds & music, exploration, riddles will make you forget to eat and sleep for a long while!
This is the original. The nostalgia alone is worth the buy. A classic puzzle game -- predecessor to escape rooms, really. The puzzles are fun, logical, and require thinking, paying attention, and connecting the dots. The story is fun, the art is beautiful, and the sound is immersive. I really love this game and I'm so happy it's available on Steam.
Not sure that there's much replay value here but the experience is one of the best. They clearly put a lot of time and effort into this game, the environments, the lore, the puzzles. This is a tough one for sure... but the answers are all there, I never felt like the game was taking cheap shots at me in regard to the puzzles. You can kind of go anywhere and do whatever and it may feel overwhelming and directionless but that's kind of how the game is. Keep a notebook, draw maps, draw out how systems work, draw out the numbers as you're given them. Study the notes, look for patterns, look for themes that show up repeatedly. You need to take on the mindset that you're a historian or archeologist trying to find out about this place. You need to get down on your hands and knees and really look at the world closely. There are some downsides to games of this style. It's not always clear where you can go. Sometimes there was a part of a screen that I could visit but never really knew that because I didn't quite click on the right part of the screen to walk to that place. There were also some times when a lever or button was hard for me to see and I missed it many times. One dirty trick they do sometimes is that you'll open a door to go in a room and the door opens to cover another exit that you didn't know was there. There's no reason to ever shut the door again and so you miss it and get stuck. They pull that one a couple of times.
This is an amazing game. Graphics are old but beautiful. Sound is immersive. Puzzles are fascinating and the whole game is an experience that I keep going back to again and again.
