Rivals

There have been a lot of musical biopic movies in the last few years and Rivals is essentially the game version of that kind of format. You're piecing together the fictional history of two musicians, Luke and Josh, through reading emails and newspaper articles, listening to interviews and songs, and looking at flyers and posters. The puzzle you're solving isn't overly complex, so you likely won't become frustrated at any point. The best part of the game is the tone, set perfectly by the excellent music. All in all, a nice story to knock out in an hour or two on a calm weekend afternoon.

Great game. Some connections are confusing or dont make sense to me, but there is a guide so I never got too stuck. There is a huge issue with this game though. The sound mixing is horrible. The volumes are not balanced and there are no options to turn down the music and turn up the audio. This might be ok if there were subtitles, but they are missing which is frustrating for a audio heavy detective game. I still recommend it, but for gods sake just add some subtitles and volume options :(
