RITE

Un pur plateformer trop peu connu ! Les contrôles sont fluides, les niveaux intéressants et exigeants, le tout accompagné d'un magnifique pixel art. La difficulté augmente progressivement jusqu'à atteindre un véritable pic lors du dernier rite, qui demandera des sauts très (très) précis. Un rite de passage incontournable pour tout fan de plateformer !

小粒なのに骨太な精密プラットフォーマー。 左右の移動とジャンプの3ボタンのみで完結するシンプルな操作体系である一方、実際には様々なテクニックが潜んでおり、ゲームの進行に従って要求される操作精度が着実に上がっていきます。 どのステージも1画面で収まる構成ながら、「そんな場所にコインを置かれても取れないよ?」「目的地に辿り着ける方法が無いのでは?」と思わされるステージも多々あり、攻略方法を見出すパズル的な楽しさも垣間見られます。 操作体系のシンプルさ故に片手でも遊び易いのも良いところ。 自分は右手を負傷している時期に左手のみでプレイしましたが、何とか最初の4ワールドの全コイン回収クリアはできました。

In a game about precision platforming, RITE fails by having horrible controls. Getting the right jump height is frame-perfect and acceleration is near-instant. Worlds 1 and 2 were designed with this control scheme in mind, but worlds 4 and 5 were not. And most levels are uninteresting. At least half of the levels were all about consistently doing one trick. There was one level where the gimmick was getting into openings that are one tile tall at the ceiling, and getting into that gap needs a pixel-perfect jump as bonking on the ceiling kills your momentum. Plenty of levels also liked to put a very hard obstacle at the end, so you can pull off several tricky jumps in a row just to get punished for your final jump not being frame-perfect.

全ステージクリアさせて頂きました。とても難易度が高くやりごたえのあるゲームでした。BGMも荘厳でﾅｲｽ。 追加DLCお待ちしております。

Expected something like celeste or super meat boy, but it was more so along the lines of an easier bootleg copy. Not much levels in comparison, nor much to actually do, played a couple of levels and gave up on it. Wouldn't recommend.
