I had a decently fun time playing this game. It's a hidden gem, for sure. However, it does get a bit repetitive feeling at times. It's, also, not very challenging. Overall, I liked it enough.

Short platformer with some rough edges but with a ton of charm, the controls aren't always the most responsive which resulted in some frustration especially near the later levels, but overall I had a fun time with this game, if you enjoy bite size platformers, give it a shot
A great game, gradually increasing in difficulty as you move through the levels. Well made with catchy music. Highly recommended.
This is a casual game that presents and plays like a school project. Not much substance here. Lack of polish is evident. For example: • There are only three basic enemies, not counting the four "bosses." They are the same in "Chapter 1" as they are in "Chapter 4." • All basic enemies make the same one or two grunt sound effects. It's not even a quality sound—I could make a better one in 30 minutes using Audacity and a webcam mic. • Why do some pitcher plants shoot fireballs slowly, while others shoot rapidly? There are no visual or contextual indicators of what to expect or why. • "Bosses" are so braindead basic, and there is very little to set them apart from the rest of the gameplay. They don't have much going on in terms of animation, phases, music, etc. • Swinging the sword has no sense of weight or impact. Sword hitbox is unpredictable at times. • When enemies are defeated, they go *poof* with no variation. Even a little knockback bounce would have been worlds better than everything going *poof*. Think about the difference between goombas and koopa troopas when they are defeated...it's intuitive and memorable. There is no such distinction here. • It's clear no one thought about a player pressing both jump and attack simultaneously, because this results in a conflict between actions. Play-testing anyone? • Certain moving platforms did not move the player character with them as expected (i.e., character stays stationary relative to world while platform is moving under their feet). This should have been fixed while play-testing. • Story??? There is no world-building. No motivation for the player character is ever revealed. Are we working toward anything? Even just a level select map would have done wonders for sense of place. How about an introduction animation, and an ending animation? Why would a fox collect apples and destroy barrels? Why are these creatures attacking? Where is this all taking place and why? I must reiterate: school project or tech demo. There is no there, there. Not recommended.
good
