For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Addicting. So much fun. One of the two best rhythm game, along Kingdom Hearts Melodies of Memories :D

buen juego
Слов нет, надо за ритмом следить сорри
Playing Rift of the Necrodancer is like weight training; since the tracks all have numbers representing their difficulty, you'll quickly gain an idea of what sorts of numbers you can handle, and you'll be able to handle bigger numbers with enough practice, except you're leveling your IRL Dexterity instead of IRL Strength. I'm split 50/50 between liking Rift and Crypt of the Necrodancer, but I would recommend a newcomer try Rift first, because of this game's much lower punishment for failure. You have 10 health, healing items are common, and you can only lose 1 health per beat regardless of which monsters you missed or how many. And if you do die, you'll have lost relatively little progress compared to Crypt, only having to restart the current level, which is perhaps 4 minutes in length at most, Because this game is so light on punishment, it goes crazy with the difficulty of execution. Mastering higher difficulties and Remix Mode (which randomizes the monster types and positions) means developing a huge repertoire of patterns you can read and have seen before, and tapping out many complicated rhythms in response. You can use a controller for this, but I really recommend using your keyboard, with one hand on WASD and the other on the arrow keys; I hit a difficulty wall at about 12 (on a scale of 1-30) where I couldn't keep improving without learning to delegate the rhythm between both my hands. It's around 19 that's difficult for me now, which is high enough that I can start trying "easier" rifts on Impossible Mode. Oh yeah, and there's a lot of free DLC songs and paid DLC albums, but unlike Crypt, no DLCs are necessary to get all the achievements. There's also minigames and boss fights, which kinda suck but are optional and won't stop you from enjoying the main gameplay.
This is a very difficulty review, as Crypt of the Necrodancer is in my top 5 games I ever played, but I have to be honest with myself, and I think this game, while it's not bad at all, doesn't come even close to the magnificence that was the first one. My main points are: - There is not enough content or replayability. I know that it isn't a roguelike like the first one, it's more like a Guitar hero game with its own gimmick, which is fine, but it's just not what I was expecting to be honest - You can beat the story in less than 10 hours and there isn't any real reason to replay it - You can play every song out of the story, try to beat your scores and increase the difficulty, and that's it. There are more songs from other games, but many of them are behind a payed DLC. I think that is their business model with this game, trying to increase profits with payed DLCs that they can make from time to time, and that is not what I look for in any game. - Even if you forget all of the above and you say to me "you are being unfair because this game doesn't want to be identical from its predecessor, it isn't even of the same genre", which is a valid point, there is one thing that is essential which is this: the songs aren't as good as they were in CotN. And in a game that focus much more in the music and rythm aspect than the previous one, that is a huge issue. As much as I love Danny Baranowsky, the most fun I had with Rift of the Necrodancer was when I was playing the songs that are included of CotN or Super Meat Boy, which are truly masterpieces in terms of song quality. I listen to those songs all the time on Spotify, that's how good they are. And there is not a single song in this game that came even close to make me feel that way.
