About
rFactor 2 is a realistic, easily extendable racing simulation from Studio 397. It offers the latest in vehicle and race customization, great graphics, outstanding multiplayer and the height of racing realism. rFactor 2 features mixed class road racing with ultra realistic dynamics, an immersive sound environment and stunning graphics, perfect for top-level esports and a rich single-player experience.
Race against a field of AI cars, or in multi-player mode against others. rFactor 2 supports a full day-night cycle as well as dynamically varying weather conditions such as rain which dynamically builds into puddles. Tracks feature "real-road" technology that changes the grip as more cars drive on it. You can run full 24 hour endurance events and in multi-player mode, driver swaps are also supported. Everything can be customized by the community, including adding new tracks and cars, and a wealth of add-ons are available on-line.Working with several partners, rFactor 2 has been used in hundreds of esport championships all over the world – in particular McLaren’s World’s Fastest Gamer and Formula E.

Unable to play game, keeps crashing and kicking me out of game when track load reaches 100% Have not actually managed a race yet, wasted over 10 hours trying

es bueno
Overall this game is hard to recommend, especially compared to some other sims, unless you can get the game + premium content on large discount its not worth it. Game is basically end of life despite never really reaching a finished state while the devs focus on the new game, they are already letting licences expire for the premium content. Also let-down by the way content is delivered, if you dont have DLC a lot of reliance is on Steam Workshop which was never implimented in an amicable way.... An official/community tool like what AC Content Manager would really benefit this game but I dont see it happening with the game fading away I am tempted to get the complete track pack + cars as the FFB and realism is top notch and removal of content has given me FOMO but it is hard to justify even on sale, FOMO can be ignored... AMS2 is more complete in terms of official and high quality content, and AC is generally better to work with in terms of mods. + Solid simulation engine and FFB, probably best on the market (The saving grace of this game). + It comes with some decent enough base content, although much of it is outdated. Also has a great modding community. The paid content seems to be where the game shines most, and has intrigued me to start playing a bit of this game again. + UI overhauls in recent years have made the game easier to play but also feels more like something you would find in a freemium game, not a dealbreaker though and better than it was. Another thing making this game a bit easier to get into. - Game seems to rely entirely on workshop, even for the base content by S397 and ISI Why not more integrated into the base game download or the DLC system? Store page duplicated on steam and in game for what??? - Due to workshop integration and the way rFactor handles content you end up with 2 copies of the cars/tracks, hogging drive space. -Between the games built in content management and workshop features, managing/curating the content can still be finicky. -Just overall odd for a game i *bought*, feels more like a F2P model or a community built game without the benefits of being community built... -Unless you exclusively run the new paid content, the consistency is hit and miss without careful curation... Its better than it was years ago but just make the base F2P at this point.
very good
incroyable
