As a recipient of the complimentary version of the game, I find it necessary to express my candid opinion. Regrettably, I cannot endorse this particular game. In my assessment, its value does not align with even a nominal price point. If circumstances allowed, I would promptly seek a refund for the free version provided.
I've been enjoying this - I tried the demo before and I've enjoyed slowly tinkering my way through the first few campaign maps. The game is - obviously - very like Timberborn. But I think I prefer Revive and Prosper so far. I feel much more "in control" of the land and water, and also more laid back. While the water is more predictable - no seasons so far - this is just fine. Playing with water is still fun and occasionally floody. The focus on automation is good. There really does usually seem to be a way to be doing better (aside from fast forwarding) and the gentle nudge if you click fastforward is neat if a bit.. weird. On Builder difficulty mode admittedly the fastforward would be nice for when you (finally) build a sleeping spot and all your sleep deprived characters suddenly sleep for the first time in like 20 in game days for what seems like 5 real world minutes, but this is really the only case I've run into. The campaign is really well executed. I mean stunningly good level design, using lots of neat "tricks" like partially build contraptions, optional curiosities, and gently gated areas to allow you to explore and learn. And on the map selection, delightful "side quests" to test specific gameplay mechanics. Sandbox and openworld get a lot of airtime these days, but a campaign like this really shows where those fall down: gently nudging you to exploit and combine systems to make interesting solutions and master the machines. So I'd recommend this if you're into automation factory building, exploring and solving open ended resource problems, and creative building. No reservations at this point - despite the early access label the game is very playable and has a good amount of content for the price. The usual EA suspects (AI pathing, performance, bugs) are pleasantly absent, and the core idea is very solid and clearly works.

very early access, but intressting concept. rebuild a wasteland with some machinery. if u already played timberborn, this could be for u.
Absolutely amazing game, very well polished for early access, games has so much depth and the devs are very quick to answer questions on Discord. Cant recommend it enough well worth the money.
I haven't played as much as this game deserves yet, but as soon as there's more time, I know for sure where I'll spend it. A cool game that is exactly what I've been looking for. The combination of community, division of labor, and automation makes this game an interesting piece. The beginning is a bit chaotic, but you get the hang of it fairly quickly and then just watch everything fall into place. I'm looking forward to seeing more progression in this game, and I believe it will get even better with time. I might appreciate bigger maps or a different map shape in time. I have to appreciate the function of water and its management to achieve a more efficient path, whether it be accessibility or the actual irrigation of the land and energy source.
This has the worst tutorial I've ever tried. I had to refund. Maybe I'll try this again when its confirmed a new tutorial has been implemented with one that wasn't thought of while sitting on the toilet.
This game is amazing. It's like playing Faktorio where you can customize the map as your choice. The game includes Automation, belts system, character management, land restoration, water management, and what I enjoy the most is landscape management. A lot has changed since the prologue. They've added a lot of new stuff and are still adding stuff. It can be seen that the devs take care of the game, fix bugs, and communicate with the players and try to help. and I'm curious about that mars and the terraformation of mars and moon. Probably the only thing I can criticize about the game is that I would like to play it with a friend and invent crazy things together. The price for the game is acceptable.
The game is lacking huge portion of playability. Game mechanic is flawed, and there are many instances of steep learning curves. Missing in-game tutorial or tips system. Had to restart several times due making easy silly mistakes, got bored, uninstalled.
To jedna z tych gier kiedy nie wiesz, która już to godzina. Ta gra to połączenie symulatora fabryki z zarządzaniem ekipą na "luźnym" poziomie, gdzie woda to życie i cel. Niech nie zmyli was wolny start.
Nice and complex must-have for all the automation geeks.
