The community has created many different airports. See if you can find your favorite airport in the workshop. If not try out the airport builder to create it.
The game has a simple point and click system to make it easy to get started. If things feel a bit too easy or too hard the arrival rate can be change both before and while controlling. In addition to the endless mode, there are aircraft movement and time-based game modes as well.
In addition to the point and click system it is also possible to control the airplanes via text or voice commands.
The game allows for customization in multiple ways. From the icons of the airplanes to the time between pilot messages.
Remember to handoff airplanes to tower when they get close to their assigned departure runway or are about to cross an active runway.
Turn on the automatic change of arrival rate to have a variation of hectic and calm times during the session.
Sometimes things do not go according to plan. Sometimes you might need to handle airplanes that need extra time or has to return to the gate. Also, make sure to give tow clearances to push tugs that are towing airplanes from one stand to another.
The scoring system for arrivals is based on how much time they spend standing still on their way to the stand. Departures are scored on the difference between the actual takeoff time and the planned takeoff time (slot time). Try to be as close to the slot time as possible but do not be late.
Good luck!

Pretty good gamification of ground control (as someone who was qualified a military ground controller). It does get same-y fast, since it doesn't have much to do. Also, voice-based input doesn't work and plainly feels bad. The computer usually doesn't understand me, and it doesn't tell me anything useful for troubleshooting why. The only meaningful way to play this is with mouse and keyboard, which is a shame. It has some immersion-breaking bugs (albeit not game-breaking), like in the official maps (as in not from the workshop) pilots will readback wrong, like mention crossing a runway when their path doesn't. Planes will get pushback but visually face the wrong way until given taxi instructions. Things like that. Overall it's a solid foundation to build more on. Idk if the developer will or if modders will.
Looks cool, but sadly, it is very clunky and doesn't worth 15€. Also, aircrafts doing 180° on taxi is a real immersion-breaker.

I think this game has a lot of potential. I can imagine a lot of unique ideas coming to life in a simple game like this, but it's not ready yet, and certainly not ready for the cost they're asking. I will be happy to change my review when the game develops some more, but I've been around Steam long enough to know the disappointment of buying a game like this with big hopes only to watch devs abandon the game before the game hits its stride. I hope that doesn't happen here, but I'm just calling it as it lands.
What an amazing game! I have been looking for something like this for the past decade or so. I have tried various alternatives before and I know that this game is different and doesn't have flashy graphics like some other ATC simulators out there. But when you are controlling a busy airport all you do is looking at the radar screen anyway, so the airplane models don't really matter. What sets this game apart is of course its premise - you only control ground movement in an airport. There is an AI tower that handles the runways, while all the other maneuvering areas are under your control. You can play in an arcade like endless mode where you try to handle as much traffic as possible in a somewhat changing environment or create a timetable based scenario and add a real feel to your airport. This game has a super easy airport builder, where you can recreate real world airports, impove them or even make something completely new and non existant in real life. It gives you sooooo much creating freedom, it is really unparalleled. But the best thing of all - the developer is super active on discord taking ideas from the community, solving bugs, still improving on game mechanics and even introducing new game modes. All in all 10/10 from me here. If you like these type of games, you should really try ATC Ground Point out.
Still a work in progress game but for what you get for the price and the continuous ongoing work from the dev it's still a great game. Also especially this game I'd join the discord, lotta helpful things and updates.
In short - it's greately overpriced and is not worth 70 zl in polish region (appx. 20 USD). For all the features present right now in the game, it would be much more worth half the price, with which it got released a year ago. It lacks variety of gameplay and difficulty. Even with "special events" and operation frequency settings, it doesn't change the very primitive pileline of "clear the plane where it wants to go". There is no feel of real significance. No danger of miscommunication. No special operations with bigger planes (like heavies and supers like A380 or An225, if they were in the game). I know that the job of ground control is matching the games vibe in terms of its repetitiveness, but as a GAME I would personally expect it to be more engaging and less mind-numbing.
Great game, lowkey what I wanted in an ATC game, WHICH IS VERY HARD TO FIND.
A nice little indie game and one of the best ATC game rn
Honestly this game is really solid. If you're just trying to relax with a video playing in the background, its a great past time. It's also a good game to get really into and challenge yourself. It might not be as advanced as Tower! Simulator 3. but it covers about 80% of it while being better in some other aspects (ie not being aggressively overpriced). I think its a solid grab when it's on sale. My only suggestion is to allow players to customize schedules themselves. I know you can change the arrivals and departures in game, but being able to load in a .txt file with your own schedule of aircraft based on real world stats would be cool.
I think this game is everything that Tower 3D! Pro isn't. UI is just better and more polished, and gameplay is more consistent even though it has its quirks. Absolutely recommend for anybody who wants the ATC feeling on a freeplay scale.
