Very good game. but it develops quite slowly. You have yo put some few hours before it dtarts to become interesting.
good
The best I can describe Revita is it's a mix of Isaac and Enter the Gungeon (EtG) with a genius health mechanic!
Health Mechanic
Revita is all about health - Sacrifice your HP in Shops, on item chests, on vendors, or at Shrines to get Items, the more health you got the more options you have. This makes it especially brutal when you just start out and you don't know how enemies attack Whenever you defeat an enemy you gain soul, which can be used to generate health you lost/spend or give you additional max health.
Progression
A lot of the Mechanics and Items are locked behind beating bosses, finding NPCs in runs or getting Achievements (Called Secrets in game). The game doesn't have too many item options when you just start out so the first few runs can feel repetitive, but after that you'll have unlocked a bunch of additional items, hopefully a new starting weapon and several in run npcs / new rooms which makes the game extremely fun.
Inspiration to other Games
As I mentioned Revita to me feels like a mix of Isaac and EtG. It reminds me of Isaac, because it has a bunch of secrets to uncover, items to unlock through achievements, alternative areas and much more! While the Items do synergize it feels a lot less broken like Isaac synergies and more like Items from EtG. Additionally the game does feature a Dash, which is similar to the Dodge Roll EtG provides you with
Recommendation
I can only recommend this game, since it is one of the better roguelikes I have played in recent years. Very well thought out, a lot of replayability, difficult challenges the further you get and super cheap especially on sale! (less than 3$ at the time of writing)
roguelike infravaloradisimo aun me quedan muchas horas de de contenido
Fantastic game that really deserves a lot more attention. Clearly takes a lot of inspiration from Binding of Isaac (the good and the bad). I picked this up on sale for $3, but the full price tag is absolutely worth it. Highly recommend. Edit: I keep coming back for more. While I'm not thrilled with the "don't take damage" focus for bonuses, it does give you something to work toward and there's no insta-win combos that make you invulnerable like in Isaac. It's all skill. The more I play this the more I love it. I genuinely can't believe how few people have played this underground gem, I had to gift it to like 5 other people while it was on sale just to get those numbers up. This is a refreshing must-play for roguelike fans who feel the genre has gotten stale - it may not do anything groundbreaking, but it makes a lot of small decisions that keep it feeling fresh. I am a massive fan of the ticket system, as well as starting runs with relics you've just unlocked. Both of these systems like you actively try new builds and experiment, unlike games like Isaac or Slay the Spire which require you to just get stupidly lucky to try your new toys or something unorthodox. It is absolutely CRIMINAL this game doesn't have more sales. Signal boost this anywhere you can.
I don't remember buying this, its a good game now that i started playing it
jogo dhr dms :)
