Difficult but rewarding game. Story is good Gameplay is good Stealth is a puzzle game, but overall a good experience.
Good game with a lot of challenging stages, a good story and a heartbreaking ending :'( (I recommend it, but it's a long game that needs you to focus)
还好
♥♥♥♥ the URNC ♥♥♥♥ the AU and most importantly ♥♥♥♥ the Precursors
I have many thoughts about this game, most of them positive, but I'll try to keep this first post somewhat short The story is absolutely phenomenal and I definetly recommend playing it Visually speaking, the game is absolutely gorgeous the character artworks are detailed and every character looks badass The gameplay presentation and the chibis are absolutely impressive in the amount of character and action they can convey with such a simple design Shrikes look absolutely visceral and repulsive and the game does a great job, both visually and mechanically, of communicating the threat they present - it does act as a great motivator narratively of giving weight to the story even when you don't understand the full scope yet The tactical, turn-based gameplay is honestly really fun. As someone who's not super deep into tactical games, the balancing in terms of difficulty feels just right to where (aside from the later half of chapter 4) it always kept me on edge While each character has their own distinct playstyle and role to fulfill, there's definetly very clear winners in terms of their strength/usefulness (looking at you, Jefuty and Jevon), but none of them feel completely useless In the end, my biggest complaint with the game boils down to the map-design While the challenge presented in each level is good, a lot of maps, especially towards the end of chapter 2 and the entirety of chapter 3, are LONG. To put it into perspective, a lot of playsessions just boiled down to playing ONE map (sometimes even only half of a map), because they took 1h - 1.5h on average to clear It makes the midgame feel like a bit of a slog to get through, which is honestly a shame because I think the game shines it's brightest once you actually head into chapter 4 (and beyond) At the end, it's still an incredibly polished game and absolutely worth it's (cheap) asking price of 25€
