Дорого но качественно .
Отличная игра, мне как фану платформеров и ужасов очень зашло. Так же любимые герои, музыка и в целом уровни сделаны грамотно.
RetroRealms Arcade is like a time machine back to the old-school Nintendo era of gaming, but with a gnarly horror twist. It's like if Castlevania, Splatterhouse, Ghosts 'n Goblins, and Friday the 13th had a cursed little horror baby — and that baby was raised on VHS tapes and Mountain Dew. I'm obsessed with the pixel art. It’s not just good — it’s dripping with spooky, nostalgic energy. Michael Myers moves with that slow, heavy menace like he’s ripped straight out of an '80s slasher, and Ash is pure boomstick chaos. The Nightmare Realm mechanic flips the map mid-level, changing layouts and enemy spawns so you’re never just chillin'. You can’t memorize everything — you gotta stay sharp or get wrecked. If you love classic horror, pixel art, or you ever ragequit those brutal old-school 8-bit games back in the day, RetroRealms Arcade is a no-brainer. It’s bloody, it’s chaotic, and it’s pure pixelated serotonin. 10/10
In the section of 2D platformer there aren't many gems out there. Gems like Cuphead which has already become a cult game after a short period of time. The new RetroRealms Arcade franchise is also such a gem. A new platform which brings many different classic horror movie franchises together under one roof in a good quality. A lot of players perceive these games as expensive because they see the entire RetroRealms Arcade collection as one game instead of just a platform for individual games. They compare the price with retro game collections like Sonic Origins or Disney's Afternoon Collection although these games were developed 25 years ago. They dont compare with similar actual pixel-art 2D platformer like Iron Meat, Shredders Revenge or Sonic Mania which also cost ~€19.99. For them the prices for these games are justified but for the RetroRealms Arcade games which costs the same they are not. Based on the success of the first two games the developers had planned to fill the RetroRealms Arcade franshise with many more horror movie classics. But since many potential buyers are scared by the combined price because they don't understand that they are buying two individual games which are priced similar to others in this segment the developers original plan can be considered as in danger. I dont want to miss the opportunity to get a new franshise filled with lots of beloved movie classics because some players dont understand the pricing. I hope the developers are still be able to grow this franshise up that we get what we need.
fun!
Hiya, dudes and dudettes! >Do you like side scroller action galore with massive amount of blood and gore? Hey, I won't judge you. You do you. Because me too. >Still looking for a unique platformer that stands above the rest of the best hits of all time? Same here. Still looking and so far mostly, only found the boring and more like ripoff/clone made by-shameless-copycat-ones. Until this particular one. >Longing for the good ol' days of retro coin muncher goodness and want to visit that time period again occasionally? I wish I have the modified DMC DeLorean that travels through time using a flux capacitor, made by Dr. Emmet Brown. Buuut! Now you can get that nostalgic vibes, at least; directly from this awesome game of terror and carnage! >Wanna know what it's like to be one of the most iconic horror characters of your very own favorites, and just simply goes on a macabre rampage spree, to kill 'em all throughout each bloodbath levels of adrenaline curdling massacre? Just pop the game and you'll soon find out what it's really like. Oh, you definitely will. :3 >So what are you still scrolling around and waiting for? Get it while it's still bloodily warm, twitching frantically, gaspingly fresh! Let go of your deepest wicked self! Blow off some steam of your inner darkness! And prepare yourself for the most brutally unhinged psychopathic goodness, from the very best pioneer horror figures that had changed the ghastly cinematic horror for decades! Magnificent gratitudes to WayForward Technologies and Boss Team Games. For making an excellent platformer, and I do notice there are still several arcade cabinets unfolded. So please, give us more cool characters from any famous horror movies; be it from the classical past, recent ones or even in upcoming future that will be agreeable for the communities of horrorists to enjoy. Keep up the good work! b(^_^)d
lovely childhood throwback , waiting for Ash vs. Evil Dead sale
Awesome 2d retro game if your into this sorta old school vibe play this!!
I’ve had a year to sit on the game and still fondly remember my time with it. I was really hoping more would be added as time went on. The execution here is done right in so many ways, from the start I love the presentation of these games being in an abandoned arcade that doubles as a museum for the collectibles you unlock for both licenses. Having cross play of the four available characters across both games is something I feel most licensed games like this wouldn’t implement and adds a lot of replay value. Even with the asking price being a little too high on its initial release and the difficulty being a bit too much for filthy casuals, (though in the grand scheme it’s not that hard) I’d still recommend it. Probably going to do another run here of both games myself soon. Here’s hoping one day it gets expanded upon with more franchises because this is the perfect set up for it as far as I’m concerned.
The game has a higher price, i'm thinking due to a smaller developer dealing with licenses. I myself haven't got the Halloween package yet. I will say this though; as a HUGE fan of Evil Dead, and the TV show as well, genuinely impressed by the story references, the pixel art in the background in the levels, and the action itself. This is a solid platformer that I really do love. The steam achievements are nice to display too, for someone who is into that kind of thing & artstyle. It's just nice to have a solid Evil Dead licensed game, as the main one fell off. Thank you to the developers. Enjoyed this experience
