About
Build and manage your ultimate retro arcade! Buy classic Arcade Machines, Galaxy Pinball, and Gift Claw games, or invest in Cinema 8D, Go-Karts, and Racing Simulators. Manage the economy, hire staff, and keep every machine running!
Step into the neon-lit world of the past and build the ultimate entertainment center in Retro Arcade Shop Simulator. Start with a humble, dusty venue and gradually transform it into a booming, large-scale arcade business. Buy nostalgic arcade cabinets, organize your floor plan to maximize customer flow, and watch the tokens roll in. Whether you want to recreate a cozy 80s hangout spot or build a massive, multi-room gaming paradise, you have the tools to bring your retro tycoon dreams to life.
Growing your business takes more than plugging in a few machines. You’ll need to manage a token economy across four different currencies, watch your hourly income, and take out bank loans to fund your expansions.
Unlock up to 10 unique rooms and fill them with a variety of attractions. Offer your customers classic Air Hockey, Pinball, and Whack-A-Mole, or invest in high-end Plane Simulators, Bowling Alleys, Go-Kart tracks, and immersive 8D Cinemas. When crowds get overwhelming, hire cashiers, cafeteria workers, and token collectors so no customer ever waits in line.
Make the arcade truly yours with deep interior customization. Choose from dozens of wall and floor textures, add vibrant graffiti murals, and set the perfect mood with neon lighting, signs, and decorative plants. You’ll also need to keep your customers fueled by managing a cafeteria - serve burgers, pour drinks, and sell gaming magazines or CDs to maximize your daily profits.
Heavy use takes its toll. Cabinets break down, screens go dark, and a dead machine is a machine that isn't making you money. Service and repair your hardware, mop the floors, empty the token boxes, and keep the whole venue in working order. Do it all yourself to save money in the early days, then hire repairmen and cleaners once the crowds get too big to handle alone. Blend relaxing business progression with an unforgettable nostalgic atmosphere and become the ultimate arcade tycoon!

Game is fun always enjoy playing this on my downtime
I have really been enjoying the game. it is pretty fun and relaxing to play. it is pretty easy to get levels and unlock every thing. the only thing I do not like about the game is the selling of Magazines and games in the arcade i fell like that is unneeded and way to tedious. it should focus on the Arcade portion of the game. the vending machines and cafeteria are fine I would also like to see a prize and ticket booth that would be pretty cool

Very good so far and a lot of fun. What I will say and I see a few other reviews have mentioned this: Progression and unlocks happen very quickly and currently (in Early Access) it doesn't take long at all to fully expand the arcade and unlock all customisation options. The other thing is that; once you have employees doing the other jobs, the only job left to you is restocking shelves, vending machines, the cafe and replacing machines when they start to wear down but that stuff usually only needs to be done every couple of in game days, meaning toward the end game there were multiple days where I just opened the shop and then stood around doing nothing just waiting for my store level to increase for the next unlock. I'm interested to see how the game improves but its off to a good start so far.
I played the Demo and the released game is different, better, so just know that. As to the full version it is pretty awesome. I will echo those saying progression is pretty fast. One big missing element though is there should be a restocker for the game. With all of the other employees it seems that this one missing is too funny. But that aside great game!
Very easy game to pick up. Clear instructions and you have the freedom to put things where you want! 10/10 can't wait for more updates!
Great simulator! It is a little basic in its current state - it's a bit rigid and some of the ordering/moving of items can be tedious. But there is a LOT of things in the game so far. A lot of different variety of game cabinets, tables, etc. Shelves to stock with magazine, etc. And a whole cafeteria area to serve food too. It is like a combination of a lot of other simulators in one. I think it is a great start, and I would like to see more fixes and additions. ESPECAILLY TWITCH INTEGRATION! Seriously, in 2026, having a simulator without Twitch Integration is crazy as Twitch can/will be a huge source of exposure for the game! I want to be able to let my twitch chat show up randomly as customers like so many other sims out there!
Great Game
It felt like I was running my dream shop. The details and gameplay are both simple and fun. I recommend you try it. Nice game
This game has been fantastic to play, the graphics, the vibe, the mood, it's not as overly hectic as other sim games where you constantly have to panic and run around or else the customer throws a big stink fit. I love the music selection on the jukeboxes, the collection of arcade cabinets, and other things, the vending machines and token dispensers are pretty neat too, the only minor gripe I have with the game and this could just be me being overly picky. The game is called "Retro arcade shop simulator" So you would think it's oldschool arcades etc, there comes a point where you can set up consoles and pc's... but what console is graphically plopped there? a ps5.. now is it me or is that kind of funny when it's supposed to be retro? Also I don't remember going to arcades growing up and seeing big alienware desktop setups XD like i said minor nitpick, when I think retro I would think like a windows 95/98 machine or for a console a snes and or a Genesis, though everything else is perfect! I've played Sim games from Gas station sim, Tobacco shop, etc etc too many I can't remember and this so far is the best one i've played... if I could make a suggestion, and this is coming from growing up around tons of arcades , one thing missing is a prize center, or macines that dispense tickets etc, I remember going to arcades and racking up tickets to get all those crazy things they'd have there and I am talking pre dave and busters era like Nathans, or Funstation USA .. Ok time to get back to the game, just about to expand the 2nd to last expansion! Cheers everyone hope this review helps you , 10/10 would recommend, the devs hit it out of the park with this one!
