About
Build and manage your ultimate retro arcade! Buy classic Arcade Machines, Galaxy Pinball, and Gift Claw games, or invest in Cinema 8D, Go-Karts, and Racing Simulators. Manage the economy, hire staff, and keep every machine running!
Step into the neon-lit world of the past and build the ultimate entertainment center in Retro Arcade Shop Simulator. Start with a humble, dusty venue and gradually transform it into a booming, large-scale arcade business. Buy nostalgic arcade cabinets, organize your floor plan to maximize customer flow, and watch the tokens roll in. Whether you want to recreate a cozy 80s hangout spot or build a massive, multi-room gaming paradise, you have the tools to bring your retro tycoon dreams to life.
Growing your business takes more than plugging in a few machines. You’ll need to manage a token economy across four different currencies, watch your hourly income, and take out bank loans to fund your expansions.
Unlock up to 10 unique rooms and fill them with a variety of attractions. Offer your customers classic Air Hockey, Pinball, and Whack-A-Mole, or invest in high-end Plane Simulators, Bowling Alleys, Go-Kart tracks, and immersive 8D Cinemas. When crowds get overwhelming, hire cashiers, cafeteria workers, and token collectors so no customer ever waits in line.
Make the arcade truly yours with deep interior customization. Choose from dozens of wall and floor textures, add vibrant graffiti murals, and set the perfect mood with neon lighting, signs, and decorative plants. You’ll also need to keep your customers fueled by managing a cafeteria - serve burgers, pour drinks, and sell gaming magazines or CDs to maximize your daily profits.
Heavy use takes its toll. Cabinets break down, screens go dark, and a dead machine is a machine that isn't making you money. Service and repair your hardware, mop the floors, empty the token boxes, and keep the whole venue in working order. Do it all yourself to save money in the early days, then hire repairmen and cleaners once the crowds get too big to handle alone. Blend relaxing business progression with an unforgettable nostalgic atmosphere and become the ultimate arcade tycoon!

It was fun for a while. It got boring though. I wish I got bored under 2 hours so I could get a refund. There's just not enough to do. It needs more work.

Glad I was able to catch the game on release.. if you like simulators this one should be in your collection. on a personal note. I have that disorder where the sound of liquid pouring into a cup is triggering. and I have already run into two instances where that happens within an hour of playing. i dont want to have to play with the sound fx off. idk.
Pretty fun game, but there are a couple of things I wish it had at the moment. Wall dividers would be one thing. Also, additional employees. A stocker would be great and maybe another cashier.
Sympa... si on pouvait jouer correctement !
Good simulator game with a lot of potential. It has an ambitious roadmap and a dev team that is incredibly active. They've made many improvements since the demo...they've added a great music selection, and fixed the flow of customers buying tokens to be much more realistic. They plan to make all of the arcade games playable and when they do I think this will be a lot of fun! I do hope they add the ability to carry more than one box at a time soon...restocking all of the various games and magazines is a real chore right now.
AI or not, fun little game. But here comes the bad stuff, 2.7 hours played level 14 out of 15. almost all expanded. Then what??? Hopefully there will be more in the future. But the thing about simulators they can be a little quick played. I always rate games on my view, no matter what other people thing. So 6/10 since it is very easy game to complete.
Easy to pick up and enjoy, would recommend. I'm playing it currently in early access, 7+ hours in and have a few suggestions for full release. -Add a hot bar so you can carry more items, its annoying to have to walk back and forth so many times when restocking -Add a re-stocker employee. Some one who can restock the shelves, vending machines and cafe items. -More flooring options -Ability to upgrade bowling alley, go karts, and shooting range. Options to expand and customize. -The ability to select individual walls to decorate instead of only selecting the entire area. -Ability to decorate and change the outside of the whole building.
It is far better then any other arcade games. And the fact the devs talk back to you and give updates and plans. Basic to say no BS from the Devs.
Game is fun always enjoy playing this on my downtime
