EDIT: There's a menu in the trailer that is AI generated that isnt even checked for real words. People in the reviews dont see a problem with AI gen materials but it doesn't really sell me on your game when you cant be bothered to proofread your assets you generated. My review right now doesnt say product refunded, but let me be clear I refunded this. ----- Ah man, like... I wanted to like this and then I put the Street Brawler cab in the arcade and just was presented with this hideous generative AI artwork on the side. No thanks, immideate buzzkill. I will mention that the Street Brawler cabinet is the first one you put in the game, and that is what it presents you with as your introduction to the game. The trailers dont show anything like the Street Brawler art on the side of the cabinet. The term "Texture Patterns" is doing a lot of heavy lifting in the AI disclosure, it should say that you are using Generative AI art assets, so I took a closer look at the trailer and there's a food menu in it and the coffee is listed as "Paikey" and instead of Milkshake you have "Mills/he Drnck" and more that I'll let you see for yourself. Sorry my money isn't being spent on Generative AI work.

Having played this game to it's fullest and seeing everything it has to offer as well as getting all achievements, I can wholeheartedly say that I do not recommend you get this game in it's current state. The idea of an arcade shop sim really peaked my interest but this good idea comes with a lot of flaws. Here are some annoyances I had playing this: - Most if not all graphics are lazily AI generated and that really takes away from the quality of the game - The idea of buying stock, only to have to move the boxes one by one all the way across my arcade is insane to me. Especially since the drop-off zone is in front of the arcade. I wish there was a re-stocker staff I could hire. This is also the reason shops are useless here. - The coin collectors just don't do their job from time to time leaving some machines to keep a hold of their coins running your coin stash dry. - Over the 9 hours I played my machines became worn, being dirty and breaking all the time. Nothing I tried or did repaired it (Not even the repair kit or broom I had cleaned it) The only fix I could see was throw out the machine entirely and get a new one from the shop. - Even when you get well over 150 customers a day you can only have 1 cashier, the token machines work well but having another cashier would've been nice. - The sound is all out whack having some sounds (like the repair sound) to be 10x louder than everything else. - The way you upgrade your shop to make it bigger is odd too. Going from 40k to 50k to 80k to 200k is nuts. Especially since you barely make money (12k a day for me at my full arcade and it took me until day 49 to get everything). - Speaking of expensive things the decorations in this game and their prices don't allow for much customization (You can't spend 200 on a single plant when all you earn that day is like 1k). - More customization would be nice, like changing colors of machines or the ceiling or even the special areas). - There is also a lack of basic furniture like chairs, tables and couches (Was trying to make a diner style area and couldn't). - The Led signs do nothing. - I gotten 18/20 achievements after 4 hours, The remaining 2 achievements took me an additional 6 hours of doing absolutely nothing but sit still which is the whole reason I am so mad at this game. There are some good things about this game though: - Even though expensive the bowling lane, go-kart and shooting ranges were a cool addition to my shop - The amount of machines to be placed was fun, Making it so my area didn't look too same-y and I could make it my own - The jukebox was loud but after changing the volume of that it was cool making my own playlist - The repair minigames also were a plus. They were interesting and kept things fresh. - I loved the colorful lights I could place. Or just the lightning I could change. - The snap mechanic for placing machines (although a bit clunky at times) was welcome as most things snapped next to each other without much trouble. Overall I see potential in this game. And I hope that the things I mentioned above can and will be fixed. I wish I didn't play this for the 9 hours I did because I would've easily refunded it if I didn't. TL:DR Game idea has some potential but the AI Slop, Bad game design and annoying gameplay mechanics makes me not want to return to it.

i Would not recommend this game at this stage. I was excited to see this because I have been thinking of creating an arcade simulator of my own. About 8 hours of playing and while some elements are run, the leveling up and gameplay overall feel soul-less and limited. The use of AI is blatant, and while I'm not all against that, there still needs to be a human intervention element to make it not feel like a quick cash grab. I will continue to monitor this game but I hoped for more.
Game get tiring. They have zero stockers and you have to carry boxes one by one. Takes forever getting things ready with no help. I don't understand how you make a game like this without a stocker as an available employee.
As much fun as I have had with this game, I can't really recommend it if you have any feelings about the use of AI. This game uses generative AI just about anywhere it can possibly do so. All of the art in this game is AI generated and this game suffers for it. (For example, there's a bag of "BBO flavored" chips, that has a picture of a chocolate chip cookie on the packaging) The music in the game is also AI generated, and noticeably so. Despite there being quite a few tracks available, it sounds like I'm listening to the same generic lo-fi Jpop song over and over. This game is fun and technically it feels well made! I can even overlook some slight generative AI use, but this game uses it so much that its impossible to ignore. I would implore the dev to try their hand at even using basic graphic design techniques for the art in this game. I'd rather look at a bag of chips that just says the word "CHIPS" on it than a messy amalgamation of what a chip bag might look like.
I can TOTALLY get why people are giving this a thumbs up, in a world full of simulator games about pretty much anything... an Arcade simulator has been long overdue, and this one has promise for a good direction....sort of. Given the few Arcade themed simulator games that exist are awful, with only one other one that is also way too early access there just isn't much out there. So I know for me personally this is a simulator game I've been wanting for a long time. But unfortunately this is just a bit TOO early access for me personally. I would like to see a lot more of these small details already fleshed out before it launches, so this one will need a good fair bit of work and updates before it actually becomes a solid game, let alone a stand out one. For whatever reason there are multiple things that seem totally pointless and are also sort of forced on you. Your first store expansion also randomly adds a bar/concession stand out of the blue. It's a fine idea to have that in an arcade but why is it all pre-made and just kinda dropped into the game? Why not have it set up so WE build this new area how WE want it to be, and WHERE we want it, too? It's also odd that for whatever reason a bunch of the materials for the products sold at this stand are just kinda there already. So you don't buy any supplies or food ingredients, they're just all there automatically whether we want it or not. It also seems kinda pointless because you just hire an employee to run it five minutes after you get it and then it's just kinda there, existing completely independent of any interaction by you from start to finish. But then it also has a fridge where there ARE items you have to buy for other products... It's just weird and reeks of something that AI would spit out that doesn't make any sense at all. The storage area that also gets added to the store when you buy the expansion.... it's the same way, it's just sorta there now with shelves inside it. Why can't we buy the stuff for storage and build/organize it how we like it as the player? Isn't that kind of a big selling point of these games? Freedom to design, build, and organize everything to your hearts content? Talking of storage, The storage is totally bare bones. You can place any box, on any shelf, with any other box of any other kind of product. There are no labels, or counts, or anything. The shelves are just there and you can put things on them and thats it, no depth or QOL to them AT ALL. I didn't play long enough to have a storage employee, what happens if boxes are locked behind boxes in the shelf order? If there are no labels wouldn't employees put them any old place? Then you would have different products that are blocked behind layers of different products, so doesn't that totally break the stocking system? I didn't play long enough to see because I'm just going to refund this, but it shows the problems with having absolutely no organization or QOL with the games storage system. This should have been something already fleshed out before an EA launch. That's like alpha build level stuff missing from this release, but that isn't all like this either. Some products are basically just placeholders. You can start selling Gaming magazines and comic books. You can tell there are 4 of each type, but NOTHING HAS NAMES! So all four magazines are just called gaming magazines and there is NO WAY to keep up with what you have and don't have without manually looking at each shelf and matching the picture on the shelf to the picture in the order app for restocking! This is what I mean by it being a little TOO early access. Half the items you sell haven't even been given proper names and object IDs yet! Like this game is clearly built entirely out of AI, you didn't bother having the AI come up with some names and Object IDs in the code before you launched? Come on now. Stocking of items is the same story, there is no item pricing at all, hell I don't even know what these items sell for. There are again no labels on machines/shelves to organize anything. The repair mechanic kinda sucks. when a machine breaks down you just have some random mini game, and this was really disappointing. The mini games themselves are rather lame, just push the button at the right time, type these numbers, etc. It's a simulator game where you run an arcade, machine maintenance would/should be a big part of your gameplay loop. Such as fixing parts inside, replacing bad PCBs, Joysticks, etc. Being early access it would be fine if there was a basic placeholder system or something but little mini games instead of an actual repair mechanic in the game is pretty disappointing for me personally. Without something like that what makes this Arcade simulator different than any other random store simulator game? Because you can't use or play any of the machines, not even things like basketball, so without having the unique repair and maintenance that would come with running an arcade this is really just like any other very basic store simulator game out there, that doesn't even have any QOL in it yet! Not having a real machine repair aspect to the game is also going to drastically limit what they can add to it during early access. What are you going to do with clicky mini games? Add more of them? If you had a real system you could be using early access to add more to it, like adding "vintage" machines of old school favorites you can collect that draw in crowds, being able to upgrade cabinets with high end joysticks and buttons, cooling, etc. None of that seems to be what they were going for here though given repairs are just unrelated mini games, so I'm not even sure what is supposed to be unique about it versus any other store simulator game. And what you are currently left with is a very basic store simulator game that lacks any and all QOL. Where you can just so happen to place arcade machines people can use. I guess there are the tokens? Being that you have to go back and collect tokens and refill the register for them to be sold, or with the token machines later. But beyond that there is just too much lacking and missing for me to want to recommend this, it feels like any store sim game but at a very very early stage.
Eğlenceli bir similasyon oyunu olmuş. Oynarken arada eskiden gittiğimiz salonları hissetmek güzel bir deneyimdi. Oynanış ve hız gayet yerinde keyifle zaman geçirebilirsiniz. İlerde makinelerin içindeki oyunları da oynarız :)
The game starts out fairly easy, but after a couple of days the workload can quickly become hectic. The progression feels good at first because you're juggling register, cleaning, repairs, etc. By level 9 the place can pretty much run itself with all the available employees hired. It can become almost fully automated within about 3 hours of play, leaving you with just having to order products and restock items. The machine repair minigames are nice, more interesting than simply holding down a button or paying to fix it. Progression is way too fast right now. I feel like I already beat the game and I've only played it close to 3 hours at the time of this review. I give it a 4/5. There's a handful of bugs I reported and add-ons I suggested but the game has potential if they patch and expand on it. *Don't play the demo first before buying. It's a hot mess and doesn't represent the full game very well. I almost didn't buy the game because of it, but took the risk.
I have enjoyed the game so far I do not think it is to fast pace or to slow but it seems just right. I do think it would be nice if the employees would restock if we have the inventory in the closet but its not a deal breaker honestly. I look forward to updates.
