Survival is just the beginning. Six years have passed since the biological disaster in Raccoon City. Leon S. Kennedy, one of the survivors, tracks the president's kidnapped daughter to a secluded European village, where there is something terribly wrong with the locals.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 121.86/day in the week to Sep 7 → 167.43/day in the week after.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 22: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 204.29/day in the week to Jul 21 → 210.4/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

its good
First I should say that if you, like me, entered playing the Resident Evil series late and you played Resident Evil Village before the original Resident Evil 4 then you will find that this Resident Evil 4 remake is very familiar. The setting is a spooky village in the middle of nowhere full of monsters and violent villagers that seem to be in the thrall of some kind of evil that is puppeting them. And the game is more action oriented then, say, Resident Evil 7. I found that the game was well balanced in terms of giving you just enough resources to survive. But I did find one thing odd. There are all sorts of new weapons that you can buy from a trader as you progress through the game. But I didn’t buy any of them. I just upgraded the weapons that I found in the environment. I never used a rifle or sub machinegun. I made lots of ammo for a kind of crossbow called the Bolt Thrower and used it frequently. But I found collecting the bolts that I had fired from the environment very annoying as it’s far too easy to throw a bolt into an unreachable surface. The art of the game, both audio and visual, is really quite good. However, somehow I found the environment art lacking compared to Resident Evil Village. I wonder if they put extra detail into the environment art in Resident Evil Village because it’s in first person so the developers knew it needed to stand up to closer scrutiny. Or perhaps the level of detail difference is just my imagination. The story was good enough to drive the action but is not memorable.
Best RE game of the franchise for sure
