Resident Evil 4 Remake isn't just a remake. It's a masterclass on how to remake a game without disrespecting the original. I first finished this on PS5, including *Separate Ways*, and somehow Capcom convinced me to buy it again on Steam. I told myself I'd just test the PC version for a few minutes. Steam politely informed me those "few minutes" turned into 17 hours. Apparently, I have no self-control. Everything about this game is polished. The combat feels satisfying, the pacing is almost perfect, the atmosphere constantly keeps you on edge, and every weapon somehow tricks your brain into thinking, "One more upgrade... then I'll stop." You won't stop. Leon somehow went from "rookie cop having the worst first day in history" to "professional monster exterminator with a PhD in roundhouse kicks." Forget ammunition. This man's greatest weapon is his right leg. The Ganados wake up every morning hoping today's the day Leon finally runs out of bullets. Instead... they get German Suplexed. The merchant deserves his own Game of the Year award. This man somehow survives every nightmare imaginable, sets up an entire weapons dealership in the middle of infected villages, castles, mines, and military islands, and still has enough time to ask: *"What're ya buyin'?"* Sir... How did you get here before me? How are your shelves fully stocked? Who is your supplier? Are YOU the real final boss? Then there's Ashley. I know she got a lot of criticism in the original, but the remake completely changed my opinion. She's actually likable now, reacts naturally, and instead of constantly making me panic... she mostly just makes me panic slightly less. Capcom somehow managed to make every location feel familiar while simultaneously making me question every corner because I no longer knew exactly what was waiting for me. That is how you remake a classic. The graphics? Ridiculous. The sound design? Put on headphones and prepare to inspect every dark hallway like you're paying taxes. The boss fights? Equal parts adrenaline and emotional damage. And the replay value? Let's just say you'll finish the game... then immediately start another run because suddenly you're convinced you can beat it in under five hours. You can't. But you'll try anyway. Resident Evil 4 Remake isn't simply one of the best Resident Evil games. It's one of the best action-horror games ever made. Final verdict: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Side effects may include: • Kicking every wooden barrel you see. • Breaking every vase in your house hoping for pesetas. • Whispering "Where's everyone going? Bingo?" during awkward silences. • Looking at every suspicious merchant and thinking, "Heh heh heh... Welcome." 10/10. Thanks, Capcom. Now excuse me while I start another New Game+ for absolutely no responsible reason whatsoever.

Nunca joguei o RE4 original então não posso comparar, mas esse aqui é um excelente jogo! A gameplay é super bem dosada, nada vai te exaurir barbaramente (não levando em consideração a primeira aparição da Ashley). As coisas acontecem numa fluidez necessária! No fim, o jogo continua divertido e terão excelentes boss fight :)
i know re is supposed to be scary but like this game is like absolute perfection. it has an acceptable amount of horror but oh my is the action in this game amazing. leon in this game is js fun to play as and playing this right after 3 feels like a breath of fresh air. re4 is my favourite in this franchise and although it is alot more action oriented, its not as bad as re5 and 6. 10/10
