Peak game, the achievements are accessible and fun to reach. The game after completion takes a whole new dimension with optimising and understanding how the enemies work. The Rpd is incredibly well done design wise and the backtracking is very satisfying. The main hall really gives a sense of warmth in the first hours while suddenly its not so safe anymore when Mr. X is after your ass.
Very good remake both visually and gameplay wise, absolute recommendation that supports even ultrawide out of box. Only downside is AWFUL Ray-Tracing and HDR in-game , HDR is washed out beyond saving and ray-tracing is barely noticeable but takes good chuck of FPS.
Very fun to play, with many jumpscares

Master piece!!! 10/10
RE2 was the first Resident Evil game I played and also happened to be the first one I 100%ed. The game has a lot of replayability between different routes, difficulties, collectible hunting, and extra modes. Even after finishing the story, there was still plenty to work toward. I also really enjoyed all the Easter eggs. RPD is easily one of the most memorable locations in the entire RE franchise, and I can't wait to re-explore it in Requiem. A great remake and a really strong introduction to the series!
