Before the mansion, before the destruction of Raccoon City, there was Resident Evil 0. Now remastered with improved visuals and sounds, as well as the all-new Wesker Mode, there's never been a better time to experience the origins of the Resident Evil story.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Reviews
worst entry in the first 5 RE games Almost really good, but a few areas fall flat: - Boring bosses/annoying enemies. - Rebecca's character assassination in RE1 - Hookshot is 2 slots - Very annoying inventory management

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 13: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I was worried I wouldn't enjoy this game, mostly because of the dual-protagonist mechanic. And I was kind of right. Managing two characters alongside the complete removal of item boxes (something I never thought I’d miss) repeatedly undercut the experience for me. Coming directly from the original trilogy and the RE1 Remake, the gameplay felt right at home once I resolved a technical headache - keybindings wouldn't save until I looked up a fix on Google. I also enjoyed the locations, the boss encounters, and Billy as a companion to Rebecca. However, while I'd argue RE1 doesn't need another remake (a patch to fix some technical issues would be enough for me), RE0 definitely does. The lack of item boxes paired with tiny inventory limits leads to absurd amounts of tedious backtracking to retrieve items dropped hours ago. Managing two separate inventories only adds to the hassle. I’m recommending it, but only if you have a high tolerance for inventory micro-management - or if you install the item box mod.
"Hate. Let me tell you how much I've come to hate you since I began to live. ... If the word 'hate' was engraved on each nanoangstrom of those hundreds of millions of miles it would not equal one one-billionth of the hate I feel for eliminator apes at this micro-instant. For RE0. Hate. Hate.
90/100
Bye-bye! :3
It's not the worst game I ever played, however it is frustrating to play at times to be honest.
