换图蚂蚁搬家，小刀流打蝎子，打不中的蝙蝠，扔燃烧瓶超长前摇，不知道什么时候才没用的勾绳枪，弱智AI队友，被青蛙吞了秒死害的白打，还有最后马库斯真的难打，全部融为一炉？！开个玩笑，还是挺好玩的，可切换角色的设定，威斯克模式也很用心。

This game absolutely does not deserve this many positive reviews, there is very little positive to say about this. First of all there is no stash, like at all, so if your inventory becomes full (which is basically 98% of the time) you have to drop it on the ground, second of all there are close to zero total healing items in this game, i played on normal and majority of the game was spent having both of the protagonists health on danger level (basically one shot). if you think you can run past zombies as you can in literally any other RE title, well good luck with that, the hallways are so narrow that they just barely fit a normal sized humans, probably made for people suffering from anorexia, so you are basically forced to kill almost every zombie you encounter. its also very easy to get softlocked in the game, if you are running very low on ammo and health and the game just decided to throw a boss at you, there is literally nothing you can do except reloading an earlier save or just blatantly cheat your way through. My favorite encounter was with the retarded bat boss, this is seriously one of the clunkiest games in existence and for some reason, the devs decided to make a boss, that not only flies but at some point in the fight, just summons like 10 small bats, so you are effectively fightning like 11 enemies at once. Not only that, but when you shoot, you basically cannot move or do really anything for that matter, meaning, you are a very easy target for the bats and to make this encounter even more excruciating, the small bats stagger you after each hit as well, this is the pinacle of game development for sure. From what ive read, you can easily defeat the bat with the grenade launcher but wouldnt you know it, because there is no damn stash system in this abomination of a game, i had to drop it in a room that requires going past like 2-3 mimicry marcus enemies which i absolutely did not want to do. these marcuses specifically are not that hard to avoid but i was once again at low health (shocker really) and at that point in the game i just wanted to get it over with since i dropped it kinda far away from where the fight with the bat takes place, so i somehow pushed through without it. The game was clearly designed to be as tedious as possible and to stretch the game time to its absolute limits, without the unnecessary backtracking (by having a damn stash chest) the game would probably be more than a half as short. there is way more to say about this but i think thats enough, if you are a die hard RE fan then you could probably give it a try, if you are someone that is just slightly more interested in the story and the lore than the average RE fan, just avoid this at all costs, watch a youtube recap or something, let yourself be called a larper or whatever, just keep your hands off this and continue with your happy life. Also, ive finished many exponentially harder games than this, this isnt a simple skill issue, the game is just horrendously designed, tedious and flawed.

I understand that this is a spin-off but this game is just dreadful. Obsolete mechanics wrapped in a veil of nonsensical plot that leaves more questions than answers. Moreover, it is trivially easy to pretty much softlock yourself on the "hard" difficulty due to the lack of resources required to e.g. fight some of the game's tougher bosses/enemies that stand in your way. If you wish to play an older title, simply stick to Resident Evil 1 (preferrably the HD version).
