Irgendwann kontrolliert man gefühlt:

12 Inseln,
400 Arbeiter,
28 Handelsrouten,
To Publisher Crazy Goat would very appreciate to get more Content, updates, nice graphics updates and more events in this nice game. Thanks
For 2 years now, the community is telling them, not enough iron nodes to finish the main quest line, so far, nothing being done about it
Allein vom Preis der fortgeschrittenen Werft her.)
Republic of Pirates is a strategy-focused city builder developed by Crazy Goat Games and published by PQube that transports players to the turbulent waters of the Caribbean during the Golden Age of Piracy. Instead of portraying pirates as simple raiders, the game revolves around establishing a self-sufficient pirate republic capable of competing with powerful nations and rival captains. It blends settlement construction, economic management, diplomacy, exploration, and real-time naval warfare into a single experience, creating a refreshing take on the city-building genre. The pirate setting gives the game a unique identity while encouraging players to think beyond conquest by emphasizing leadership, commerce, and long-term planning. Building a successful pirate haven is the foundation of the gameplay. Every structure contributes to an expanding network of industries that harvest, manufacture, and distribute valuable resources throughout the settlement. Careful planning is required to keep production chains operating efficiently while supporting an increasing population. Expanding too quickly without securing enough supplies can create shortages that slow development, making resource management an ongoing strategic challenge. The progression from a modest island outpost into a flourishing pirate capital is satisfying because every new district and production facility reflects thoughtful decision-making rather than automatic expansion. Beyond city management, Republic of Pirates encourages players to dominate the Caribbean through exploration and naval operations. Fleets can be dispatched to discover new islands, secure profitable trade opportunities, and protect valuable shipping routes. Naval combat unfolds in real time, requiring players to carefully position their ships and make tactical decisions that can determine the outcome of battles. These encounters complement the management systems instead of replacing them, as military victories directly support economic growth and territorial influence. The integration of sea warfare with settlement building ensures that gameplay remains engaging across the entire campaign. Diplomatic relationships add another meaningful layer to the experience. The Caribbean is populated by competing pirate factions and colonial powers, each with their own interests and ambitions. Players can negotiate alliances, establish commercial agreements, or choose open confrontation depending on their strategy. Political decisions often influence military and economic opportunities, making diplomacy an important tool rather than an optional feature. This interconnected system encourages players to evaluate every action carefully, since maintaining strong relationships can sometimes be just as valuable as winning battles. The game's presentation captures the adventurous spirit of pirate legends with colorful tropical environments, bustling ports, and detailed sailing vessels that bring the Caribbean to life. Settlements gradually transform into vibrant pirate cities filled with activity, while the soundtrack and ambient sound effects reinforce the atmosphere of life at sea. The visual design remains clear even as towns become increasingly complex, allowing players to manage their growing republic without unnecessary confusion. Republic of Pirates succeeds because it combines several strategic systems into a cohesive whole. City construction, economic planning, diplomacy, and naval warfare constantly influence one another, rewarding players who can balance expansion with careful resource management. While the interface occasionally feels cumbersome during larger battles and some late-game activities become somewhat repetitive, these issues do little to overshadow the game's overall strengths. Its distinctive pirate theme, layered gameplay, and satisfying sense of progression make it stand out among modern strategy titles. For players who enjoy city builders with meaningful strategic depth and a setting that moves beyond traditional medieval or industrial themes, Republic of Pirates offers an enjoyable and rewarding adventure. It successfully captures the fantasy of creating an independent pirate nation while providing enough economic complexity and tactical decision-making to remain engaging for many hours. Although a few quality-of-life improvements could further refine the experience, it remains a polished and entertaining strategy game that effectively blends management and naval conquest.
