Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 14 → 0.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
This is an AI-driven space management RPG set in a galaxy that never sits still. Travel across 150+ planets and live alongside 600+ intelligent NPCs, each with their own identity, long-term goals, memories, and decision-making logic, in the ever-evolving Neon Galaxy.
Begin as a rookie trader: buy low, sell high, run your own shop, and build trade routes as you grow a commercial empire. Or join a Military Faction, rise through the ranks as a soldier, and take part in faction governance and interstellar warfare. Every deal you make, every word you say, every alliance and betrayal ripples outward, and some of those ripples can reshape the entire galaxy.

Leave fixed careers and linear progression behind. Become a trader journeying across the stars, a branch manager running local shops, or a powerful tycoon at the head of a Commerce Guild. You can also join a Military Faction and rise through the ranks, taking part in personnel appointments, resource allocation, planetary governance, and major faction decisions.
If none of those paths define the life you want, enter Neon Galaxy as a Free Person and pursue your own goals through customizable difficulty settings and open-ended rules.

Nothing here holds still. Supply, demand, and prices are never fixed. NPC decisions, newly established trade routes, factional relationships, wars, disasters, and social events all continuously reshape the economies of different planets.
Spot regional price differences to earn your first fortune. Open shops, recruit managers, and set your own business policies. Establish a Commerce Guild, expand your network of branches, and compete for control of vital trade routes. This isn't just trading. It's shaping the rules that govern civilization itself.

Join a Military Faction, complete military assignments, and earn Merit and Influence to unlock higher positions, greater authority, and new career abilities.
Take part in energy development, commercial expansion, security maintenance, military transport, and personnel appointments. Rise to become a Governor or Consul, govern planets, shape faction policies, and shift the galaxy's balance of power through alliances, contracts, and rebellions.
When war breaks out, assemble your fleet and enter interstellar battles. Deploy different types of warships, unleash military abilities, and command the battlefield to decide the fate of an entire planet with your own hands.

The 600+ NPCs of the Neon Galaxy are more than characters waiting for the player to trigger their dialogue. Each has a unique background, a network of relationships, long-term goals, and their own reasons for everything they do. They watch the markets. They watch each other. They watch you, and they react to what they see.
Wars, alliances, betrayals, and acts of revenge become character memories, recorded within a web of interconnected Destiny Orbits. These memories continue to shape relationships, goals, and future actions. Characters don't simply react to what's happening now; they carry their past with them as they continue living their lives.
Talk to them however you want. Choose from different conversational styles, or speak to them using voice input. A seemingly ordinary conversation might transform a relationship, inspire a new goal, or become the starting point for a character’s future actions.

Within the cycles of Neon Galaxy, Prophecies reveal signs of coming wars, disasters, and market crashes.
Play it safe: adjust your trade routes and faction relationships in advance, and get ahead of the storm. Or gamble everything: intervene in the choices of individual characters, attempt to break the Prophecy, and change the future itself.
You can also venture into mysterious wormholes and establish frontier outposts from scratch. Allocate your population, upgrade facilities, and unlock new technologies while working with limited resources and under constant time pressure. Random events and unknown crises will continually disrupt your plans and test your strategies for survival and expansion.

Build a family, raise descendants, and plan their growth and long-term life goals. Through the Life Planner, follow their progress and watch as they form their own relationships, experiences, and futures within this dynamic world.
Your story does not have to end with a single lifetime. Everything you built, everyone you loved, every enemy you made can continue shaping the lives of generations to come.

The Gameplay Lab and standalone Mod Editor let you rewrite anything: planets, factions, characters, goods, prices, ships, relationships, Prophecies, even the rules of the world itself. Publish it all to the Steam Workshop.
Import custom character appearances and parts, share character and faction card packs, and use AI to generate character biographies, names, and worldbuilding content. You're not just creating a new character. You're building another Neon Galaxy, capable of evolving on its own.

I played AstroBuilder and noticed that the game contains what appears to be AI-generated visual content, including artwork and cutscene assets. However, the Steam page only discloses the use of an LLM for NPC behavior. I don't have an issue with developers using AI, but I do have an issue with the disclosure seemingly not covering all of the AI-generated content included in the game. I also have not received the payment I was promised for playtesting. Because of these issues, I can't recommend the game in its current state.

I'm very dissapointed about this game. I expected some interesting game about the trade with AI but I got stuck in the beginning where I need to collect 120000 and I get about 20000 per run between planets and it's really boring and I need to huggle with AI every time all the same way. I need to remember which goods are trending where because I can't see them from one place. So I want a refund but I have spent already some of their AI tokens and it seems unfair.
Looking forward on more AI driven NPCs and the building system im wormholes is really fun to play.
