It's good. Enemies and stages give you enough room for movement and there's a decent amount of story. The protag's comments are sparse and well-voiced enough to not bother me.

This game sits somewhere between your traditional boomer shooter and something more like Selaco, once again pushing GZDoom to its limits with absolutely massive levels and some components that require not just kills but speed. Levels are sometimes almost as vertical as they are horizontal, movement is crucial, and learning how to slide and dash around these massive spaces is crucial for things like saving on ammo. Sure, you can craft this ammo from the ether, but only if you've found enough of those little ether canisters around. Or perhaps you'd prefer to craft health or armor instead. Either way, you're given resources and constraints on how much of them are available, and left to your own devices to figure out how to operate within those levels.

Lots of fun with some really well designed and interesting levels. Well worth the money if you're into older style fps games.

Amazing use of the GZ Doom engine for this one. Expansive, but not confusing, levels. Fun weapons and gameplay. Can't wait for episode 2. Hopefully bringing 3 or 4 new weapons with it. My only gripe is the tiny arsenal. They are good, unique and fun weapons to use, just only having 5 is kind of sad for a boom shoot. But overall great game, so far ;)

Absolutely the best game made in the GZDoom Engine, at least that I've ever played. The gunplay is punchy, and satisfying, upgrades are exciting, and powerful, the biofuel mechanic is unique, level design is awesome, secrets are clever, and rewarding, backtracking is actually fun, visuals are gorgeous, and the soundtrack is a banger! If you're a fan of Boom Shoots, I cannot recommend this one enough!

Game has a slow burn up until the 1st boss fight and that's where it ramps up. The more and more it introduces new elements to the game, the more interesting it gets and it honestly surprised me. The theme of it is cool, almost having a starship troopers vibe in terms of the game's setting. Music is pretty good. VA is great (You can never go wrong with Gianni). The metroidvania elements of the later part of episode 1 shine really well. Boss fights are all fun. Episode 1 alone is worth the price of admission but I'm looking forward to the 2 new episodes it'll apparently be adding. Don't sleep on this one.
