Quite fun beat'em up. Only a couple of runs in but I quite like it. Runs great on Steam Deck.

Box Knight is highly addictive and very, very fun game. Great for jumping in and aiming for a high score each time...until you try, fail and then the huge urge to try again. That recurring thought in your head after each death.. "just one more run". The animation, especially with each kill, is amazing. Highly recommended!

Played a ton at conventions, great to have the full version! If you're into games like castle crashers and ever spent time in the hellscape that is the corporate workforce, you've likely had daydreams a lot like this game. Give it a whirl!

Played the demo and the full game is even better. New mobs and customisation make this side scroller an addictive time sink. Worth the purchase for the replayability and the challenging modes as you progess through the levels.

On a true ending playthrough, things gets really challenging which is why having a couch coop option feels really great. The roguelite mechanics are deep with lots of build customization. Horde mode will keep you engaged for a while as you try to get to the coveted 50 rooms clear in a single session. Great title all in all, although the music was not its strongest suit for my taste, but that is also a matter of opinion.

You strap on cardboard armour, grab a weapon, and beat your way up floor by floor like the world's most cathartic exit interview. The combat is snappy, the enemies read like passive-aggressive performance reviews, and dying just means clocking back in for another shift which, frankly, is the most relatable game mechanic of 2026. It's cheap, it's funny, it has couch co-op so a mate can join your restructure, and it's made right here in Adelaide. Perfect game. No notes. See HR if you disagree.

Box knight is a great game that brings me back to early xbox 360 arcade games like Castle Crashers and Charlie Murder. The game has great build virarity with no stat being bad to build into, whether its stun, evade or buzz this game has done well to make sure there is no useless path to getting strong. Each weapon is well balanced and encourages you to try different builds to match the weapon you have equipded. all In all I give Box Knight 9 boxes out of 10 knights.
