Está bien como escape room, sobre todo si tienes al lado una libreta. Tiene tantos puzzles interesantes, como otros que aun teniendo la solución en la mano, no entiendo, pero entretenido.
pretty good puzzles
fun puzzle game with a little bit of story.
Jeu court et difficulté moyenne: j'ai regardé les solutions pour 3 codes, 2 d'entres eux j'étais juste aveugle mais je n'ai toujours pas compris le 3e Je recommande en soldes uniquement
This one is mostly straightforward. I cheated on the end of Room Beta because I lost my patience with the raising puzzle. Oh, and a hint for one of them: The annotations for the group photo should be viewed as a mirror, not as-is. This one is pretty alright. Worse than Palindrome, but better than the other previous two.
I liked this one :) Many puzzles are easy and some you get REALLY stuck on. Need to think outside the box. I don't like using hints but had to on some of these (and on a few the hints didn't help enough so had to use walkthrough),. But all in all a well made escaperoom for different levels!
Sadly, most of those riddles / solutions of this developer does not make any sense. Especially, compared to other riddle games like House of Da Vinci etc. there you have the "click / aha moment"-feeling if you got the solutions. Here I totally miss any logic or reason behind the puzzles, so that the fun aspect is fading away every minute to minute...
Eventho I love puzzle games, this game didint get my love. It's alright game, some puzzles were super easy and some puzzles, eh difficult. Sometimes I had to use guide because I had no clue what to do because of lack of hints. There is "hint" section, but it only show one hint and that hint doesnt help at all. If it could give more hints , it would made better game experience. If you like puzzles and are not capable/doesnt like to overthink, then this game is not for you.
Positives: Smooth movement, great variety in the puzzles and plenty of them, fun story, nice difficulty level overall, good length and nice design. Improvement areas: Some puzzles should be guessed (certain passwords), make it possible to pick up the clues - now there is a lot of writing down things to remember, some puzzles (especially the picross one) are missing clues. Overall it was an enjoyable experience! Some puzzles was not along my line of thinking, but that is just fun, makes you improve yourself once you see the solution.
How Regular IS this factory? Regular Factory: Escape Room is, as the title implies, an escape room game. This means that you're put into a location with a bunch of puzzles to solve, and clues to find that help you solve those puzzles. This is a solid escape room, but it doesn't quite reach the heights of being truly great. First, this game has a little bit of story to string you along, but I find that this story doesn't really do much for the game, as the story and the setting are a bit incongruous, and as the story unfolds, it becomes more and more non-sensical, directly contradicting itself. Some stories can elevate a game, but this one drags it down a bit. Next, we have the actual puzzles. This game does a fantastic job of not having you solving simple logic puzzles, but instead requiring you to find clues, ascribe them to puzzles in the environment, and then figure out how to apply the solution. However, the solutions are never tedious or difficult to implement, so once you know what to do, it's a simple task to solve them. Unfortunately, there were a few puzzles that I found, even after solving them, that I couldn't discover HOW i was supposed to get to that solution. One notable example is where I found letters and numbers that I could decipher into a 4 digit code, but the code had no order. I looked around a lot to try and figure out what the order could be, and finding nothing, I used the built in hint, which didn't help at all. I ended up having to try the code several times, as based on the rules, there were several correct possible choices. Another puzzle had me associating blood types, but based on the information, it seemed like I needed to add and subtract them based on typing, when I actually just needed to add them all together. I don't know how I was supposed to know that. This doesn't come up over and over again, but each time it does, it REALLY sucks. All told, this game was really fun to overcome, and it didn't have some of the usual issues of this kind of game with moon logic or pixel searching for finding clues. It DOES have some issues, but none are so bad to ruin the experience, and there is enough help available that you won't get stuck anywhere. If you're wondering how the story doesn't make sense: [spoilers]You work as a night shift factory worker. First, for some reason, as a night shift worker who works alone, you start your day by turning everything on. That's not what night shift workers do, especially if they work alone. Then, you find a hand popping out of one of the machines, instead of calling the police, you decide to break into the deeper portions of the facility. You eventually make it into a medical facility with blood sample and medications, only to discover that this factory is manufacturing androids, who are fully robotic, so where did the blood come from and what are the medications for. Also, apparently the androids are all developing Glaucoma, despite not having optical nerves. You finally find out that you are, in fact, an android that has been going through some kind of testing that you just failed, which again, doesn't really make sense with everything you've been doing in the game.[/spoilers] This doesn't ruin the game, as it doesn't really do anything other than give the game a little extra character, but it's sad that it seems to be so disconnected and non-sensical.
