It's shoot-'em-up arcade action at its best! Use an incredible assortment of heavy artillery to blast away enemy tanks and planes, and fight your way to victory. What are you waiting for? Pull yourself up by your bootstraps and get into the action!

I would recommend this simple arcade shooter, but I won't because of one thing. You can only control with the mouse. Both for aiming and moving. You cannot play it with mouse to aim and keyboard to move. You cannot play it with gamepad like a twinstick shooter with the left joystick controlling the movements and the right one aiming. You could do so on the Xbox 360 where I played and finished the game. You might be fine with just the mouse for the first few levels, but you'll inevitably end up in trouble later on, especially with enemies on the ground and bosses. It's a shame other control schemes were not implemented beyond mouse because the game is otherwise fun with plenty of levels.
"I've heard enough liberal whining! We still have one final line of defense..." is probably the best quote from any video game ever. I lol'd when I read that in the games' intro. PopCap in the mid and late 2000s made amazing games
Seems to be ok, despite its age. Control only with mouse, tank follows the cursor. Gameplay is shooting everything above you, sometimes vehicles appear from sides, shoot incoming rockets as well. Avoid shooting white chopper, it gives power ups. Collect 4 parts of laser cannon for temporal boost of firepower, pretty deadly to be honest. After each mission upgrade tank.
I still remember when I was a kid playing this game on my old potato Toshiba laptop, the nostalgia hits hard, I bought this game when I saw it on sale, 100% recommended, this game is hard, fun at the same time.
Sé que muchos se quejan con el tema de mover el tanque con el Mouse pero creo que hace el juego mucho más dificil a su manera xD, juegardo muy recomendado si estas muy al pedo
This game made me feel patriotic again. If only America's entire military is just one super tank. Bonus points for the game entirely consisting of killing communists.
nostalgia, popcap never missed. 10/10
This game was a lot of fun to play. It's challenging, hectic, and addicting! It had me constantly on my toes the entire time I was playing. It starts off with not much happening in the early missions, but slowly as you progress through there are more enemy types like the TF-77 Havanski atomic bomber or the S-34 Reflex fighter. It can also get stressful at times since there are a lot of things going on in the later missions, but thankfully the upgrade system in this game helps a lot. It was very satisfying seeing the results screen at the end of a mission and seeing I had killed 100% of the enemies. I also liked playing through the boss fights, my favorite is the one that is the yacht. After finishing the campaign, you get to unlock Survival mode and it was very fun to play seeing more and more enemies with the tank being upgraded. The music also slaps. It was one of the reasons why I was so eager to do my best every level since its pretty catchy and has that military vibe to it.The controls, however, are definitely not worth of an Oscar. You control, aim, shoot, and move all with the mouse and it gets tedious when dealing with the enemies like the Shovak Bulldozer since I had to move left and right constantly just to not get hit by it, and if you want something that controls more smoothly I'd reccomend the PS3 and Xbox versions. There is also no multiplayer on the PC version of the game either. Finally, I don't know why, but when I fullscreen the game it's zoomed in which means it can be hard to see my progress during a level. Overall though, this definitely isn't the worst version of the game. I give it a 7/10
