This is a high quality Hidden Objects game from GrandMA studios. I played on casual mode and it took me over 9 hours to play the main game, bonus chapter and hidden chapter. You are the Guardian of the World of Fantasies and have been summoned by the King of Creatos because his daughter has been trapped by magical vines. That was simply a decoy because the Queen of Creatos was kidnapped whilst everyone's focus was elsewhere. The Queen of Creatos is crucial for her world's survival...without her, it would simply crumble. You have to stop the baddie Akvos from using her magical powers for his own purposes. Ok...this might sound familiar and trite, but it is all executed in an engaging manner and captures your imagination. I was never bored throughout the game. You have to travel into four very different worlds and meet their inhabitants. Graphics were stunning and continuously high quality. Each scene had 3 well hidden shards of a mirror in it which opens up the hidden chapter at the end of the game. HO scenes were good and not easy. Puzzles were interesting and some were very challenging. Had to have a peep at the strategy guide to complete a couple. Characters were interesting and relevant to the game. The music was probably the weakest part of the game. Just one melody in it Bonus chapter followed on a few years after the main story and was just as interesting. Oh, the game also has an interactive map where you can fast forward between scenes. But you're mostly going back and forth between 3 scenes, so I only used it occasionally. This series has 7 games in it and Steam only has the first two at the moment. I'm hoping the rest will come on too as the reviews of the other games have been glowing. I highly recommend this game. 8/10.
The second game in this series is almost as good as the first. Both are enjoyable, fantasy-based HOPA games with plenty to recommend them. In the second game, you are now a fully-fledged Guardian, summoned to help the royal family of Creatos in their time of need. Travel the worlds, solve puzzles, complete HO scenes, and save everyone from evil. Pros: - linear but solid story - nice art and music - smooth interface, interactive map, and easy to access guide - easy to determine if collectibles have been located - can return to scenes to find collectibles after the main and bonus chapters are complete (a huge plus!) - good length story and bonus chapter - special HO scene as an extra bonus for finding all collectibles - variety of puzzles Cons: - not enough HO scenes - story is somewhat less engaging than first game (no more than many) - no re-use of items NOTE: some HO scenes are used more than once, although this is generally handled very well, and the HO scenes themselves are standard but nicely put together Overall, an above-average HOPA and well-worth adding to your collection.
Story interesting. Puzzles range from simple to complex so interest never wanes.
I didn't enjoy playing this game for the simple reason it had a faulty soundtrack - two tracks playing at the same time and long silent periods with no sound at all except the eeyore of the hint button. The achievements were ridiculous - finish in 5 hours, but spend 15 minutes on a puzzle - and were not easy to see. It was overlong with a brilliant start diminishing to collecting objects and frustrating puzzles Glad I bought it on offer
This game crashed on me and has done the same for others I saw online when trying to fix the issue. I cant open it, I played 3 hours and now Im stuck with a bugged out game I cant play.
I enjoyed this game. I felt the puzzles were creative, if a little frustrating on occasion, and felt the game a good length for the value. I do wish there was an 'undo' option for the puzzles. Some that I skipped were less because I couldn't solve it and more because close to the end I made a mistake that would have forced me to restart. I will be trying other games in this style and by this dev.
Nice ;)
One of the best Hidden Objects games I've played recently. The story is good, the graphic is beautiful and the puzzles quite vired and original. It's refreshing after some repeatable HOG's we have this days. The main story and bonus chapter took e about 7 hours and there were some puzzles I needed help with. Good quality game that I can truly recommend.
This is probably the best hidden object game that I have played. Different mini games, nice and long and the extras were also longer than normal. Really enjoyed it.
Meh.
