The game graphics looks ok, and the warship battle royal mode is interesting for me, but the warships' balance has some problems, I hope that future updates can make up for this
On the first play it says "Epic Games Presents", a scam to misrepresent that the game is coming from Epic when actually it's only using the licensed Unreal engine. Played two rounds after a a small wait. An untranslated Chinese voice commands me. It looked like three real players in each round the rest appeared to be bots. Now wait, and wait still 5 minutes later no round. This ship never really sailed, it sank in the harbor just after it arrived..

World of Warships: Battle Royale and running on Unreal Engine 4 As a huge WoWS player, this has promise to be a cool little game. It has bot support so it's not like Steel Ocean where it's possible you can't even get a match started I'm curious to follow this game
I don’t really get it where the hate is coming from for this game. This game is not another world of warships. Sure, it borrows a lot from this title but it’s honestly just a light version of it. That being said, it’s perfect like that. In theory you could jump in and get a fast paste fun round. “In theory” because the one real problem is a very small number of players. Bots are too often and too obvious to ignore. So, try it out, its free to play and it works. Not a single crash or bug that destroyed the game for me, so what more does someone need in an early access game?
The game has some potential but like most early access games, if it wishes to make $ they are gonna have to be more active with the community. One of the issues most are very upset by is the fact that here we are day of launch, kids are out of school and people off work in the US and no one can play because the servers are down. There was no notice of this or any communication about when they would be back up. This is a huge issue. If the developers wish to have a great game, then they are going to need to interact with the community or at the very least get people who will. Outside of that major issue there are a few minor balance issues and learning curve things that can easily be ironed out in time. The game play was fun the mechanics, where a bit confusing due to lack of tutorial but simple enough that with enough play can be worked out. Some of the insane combinations of components I experienced were just mind blowing. As a WOWS alpha player I can say this game gives a very interesting alternative to the WG experience in naval warfare.

its a decent game if you can pass the login screen, this game is basically if wows and pubg are mixed together and its quite enjoyable (use my guide to help you : https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2582829140) how to pass the boot screen is quite simple, just checkmark the empty square at the bottom of the block of text given and press the left button at the bottom right corner, on the name selection use numbers + letters, dont use space, underscore or anything like it as it seems that isnt allowed by the game. once you pass that and enter the menu, press the cog at the top right and pick the rightmost tab, pick the english language and voila. For the battle, naval academy is co-op & training room while versus mode is randoms pvp I suggest the dev imrpove the translation, as many part of the UI is confusing and still left untranslated, mostly on the weapon descriptions, i really hope theyll give a prompt for language selection at first boot in future updates other than that the game is playable, however there is some bugs and some stuff that can be improved, such as allowing ship control when viewing ship tab and the battle map, as there are times i ran to an island or enemy ship from opening those tabs instead of seeing the ship turning and showing a damage caused counter somewhere in the gui the bugs i encounter are weird, one match i got a big bug where i cant select my spawn location and throughout the whole match i dont get any ship ui and unable to use the esc menu, while in other normal matches i cannot fit the control tower. maybe in the future this will be fixed, i'll be interested to see how this game grows one more improvement of life id like to see is regional servers, so that each region has the possibility to play with sub 100ms ping, as my ping in all the games is around 270-300ms which is playable however its not ideal
This game has potential. The graphics is good even on low settings. The game play is decent, it's alot simpler than World of Warships (you don't need such a big lead on ships). I like the concept. I'm not a fan of Battle Royals but this I had some fun playing for a bit. All the stuff from the lootboxes are only cosmetic (as it should be). Finally you only have 3 ships to choose from and you upgrade them in game. Now to the reasons why I don't recomend this game. The language the game is defaulted to is Chinese, and to get some of the client in English at the start so you can look through the ToS you need to change a line in an .ini file. Once you get into the game you need to go into settings and change the language to English. I'm not mad at them for that, you can't expect everyone to have English as their first language, but certainly they could have a client for regions that mostly speak a certain language. (I'm not a dev but I don't think it would take long to do) There is next to no one that plays this. At my time of playing Steam Charts only showed 2 people playing... Finally (this was probably the game mode I chose) but the bots don't fight you, they just drive around doing nothing and pickup upgrades. I think the devs can do something awesome with this especially now with WarGaming being in some hot water right now with countries looking into them for money laundering and pissing off a ton of community contributors and making them leave.
