Descending suddenly on the world, the macabre Mort armies destroy nation after nation, leaving humanity decimated in their wake. Among the forces resisting the Mort is a small band of mercenaries known as the Ashen Hawk Brigade.
I love this game style. Core Turn-Based. Game play. Combo-Tactics. I hope developer make Part 2. Can Expand story of Morte and New Heroes Team. I will waiting Part 2..
Pros: - Nice combat animations - Satisfying chain attack + movement after attack make combat very fluid Cons: - Distorted character portrait in cutscene - Uninteresting story - Bland character upgrade: mostly increase attack/defense, optionally with a condition, e.g. when adjancent to ally, when not adjacent to ally - boring weapon system: durability, damage and hit are certainly "borrowed" from Fire Emblem, a character can only equip 1 weapon type. Most weapons are just tradeoff of damage and hit. Reparing weapon is a pain. I actually had to grind skirmishes a bit just to get enough money to fix weapons - lack of info: you can't check what an enemy does; for example, there's an enemy that attacks in AOE but you can't get that information from its details, there's an enemy that self-detonate which cannot be dodged even the game shows you a hit percentage - incorrect info: there's an ability that says "heal all allies", but it's actually a single target heal, and you can't heal NPC! - almost no chemistry between the characters, maybe except for the assassin and the swordman, the spearman is a total ♥♥♥♥ - bad map design: a lot of maps are just too big, what makes it worse is that some maps have the enemy that spawns the self-detonate mobs every turn indefinitely, so you have to move around the map very carefully while positioning your squishy characters well or they get one shot by the horde of self-detonate mobs. It can take 20 minutes or more to finish such maps, and one small mistake can make the entire 20 minutes a waste. Overall: 4/10, only buy it when there's a deep discount
เกมเทิร์นเบลดที่ดีและไม่มีui อะไรเยอะแยะเข้าใจง่าย สนุกและราคาถูกที่คุ้มค่ามากๆ
A hidden gem . I believe this game is much better than all Fire Emblem games , except three houses . If you love that gameplay buy it without hesitation .
One of the worst strategy rpgs I have ever played. The strategy here is just hordes of adds and overpowered enemies. Good strategy is rarely rewarded. I get it. It's supposed to feel hard, but it's also a game. Not giving us enough coin to even cover basic repairs while also making each map an absolute slog after Chapter 20 just isn't fun. Every map is exactly the same. Creep along with hordes of reinforcements flood the map. I should have saved my $9 because even at that price, I feel completely ripped off.
There are so many clunky thing in the game which I can tolerate. The one that I can't... Is that when you go play a mission where you didn't grind enough you get one hit kill. That was acceptable, what is unacceptable is that there isn't a button of "go back to the camp" when you found out you're out level and this is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ because the "Next mission" doesn't tell level of enemies, the map or objective, you literally go in blind. If you are going to tell me that's because I chose "Normal" difficulty and not "Easy" which is probably for streamer, then I guess this game is made for Streamer and not anyone else. This game looks and feel like late PS2 game or Early PS3 game but lack of polish and proper play test to show how broken the game is. So you have to go load the game of the previous save(you can't press continue cause that will put you back in the game that you lost)
시간 때우기 좋음
It's not terrible but it messes up some pretty basic concepts and mechanics that have been standard in RPGs for decades at this point. The Good _______ * Art style is not bad - Feels like a decent blend of asian and european design concepts that merge into a overarching theme that is unique without feeling generic. This results in good character design, effective monsters, and a dismal and dreary setting. * Music is pretty good - It has a dramatic and somber mood that carries itself pretty well and does a good job of matching the mood. * Great inspirations - It feels like playing Dragon Age Grey Wardens in a tactics style final fantasy game using font and HUD inspired by Dark Souls. Where it ♥♥♥♥♥ up ------------------- * Controls - This is the most apparent thing you will notice the moment you have control in the game. It took the simplicity of a turn based grid battle system and convoluted the ♥♥♥♥ out of it by using WASD keys to move your characters. Those two methods both sound basic and reasonable, but end up being mutually exclusive. It creates all kinds of conflicts and disconnects for movement, selection, and even gauging distance. You can't zoom out, and you can only ever have one selected unit selected at a time, so you have to constantly switch back and forth between your own units and the enemies to see if you're going to be in their attack or movement range, and you're constantly panning the camera back and forth to do it since you lack the ability to zoom the map out. Everything should have been a click command, with toggle options. * The writing - From the first cutscene every thing we get is pretty poorly written. The rinse and repeat format of Cinematic > Battle Map > Character management screen just constantly hammers you with the bad dialogue as a result. Every narrated thought or brief dialogue is just seeping in writing that stinks of an overly dramatic anime. * The game's AI - I've encountered too many enemies that will not move unless you end your turn within their charge range. This often forces you to give them the first attack against you. I've inched around Mort spawns, trying to draw them toward me over the course of multiple turns and they just would not budge. It's incredibly stupid. The controls are carnal sin to me, and thus a deal breaker. There's no getting used to it, because it requires you to de-program yourself when it comes to the use of the WASD keys, which is typically efficient for fast movement and quick response. Here it results in you activating menus and options without selecting any characters, and conversely causing you issues, because you're intended to take your time as you plan and execute commands with a strategic mindset. The way you are supposed to play the game, and the controls they selected for that playstyle are complete contradictions. I feel like an update that offers an alternate control scheme could drastically improve the experience, but as is, I can't stand this.
