Redemption Cemetery 2: Children's Plight (IHOG) This is a standalone story WARNING: People who are serious arachnophobes should consider steering clear of this one. Options include separate sliders for Music and Sound, Full-screen, auto-Widescreen and Custom Cursor. Choice of Regular or Expert Mode. Story: An evil warlock has broken the bonds that held him captive, and has chosen you to use as a bridge to remain free in the world. You are now trapped in an otherworldly cemetery, but restless souls needing closure will help you, if you will just help them... Save the children that the warlock has kidnapped to earn your freedom, and perhaps defeat the warlock once and for all. Our Journal contains some extra story, and no spoilers! Gameplay: The first game in the series, Curse of the Raven, is not yet available at Steam, but I can say that Children's Plight follows the same kind of format. There are three children that need your help, each with their own separate environment. Freeing a child will unlock a new area, and a new spirit and child to help. There is no MAP, but the active scenes are kept to a small enough area that there is not a ton of to-ing and fro-ing. The devs seemed to understand that we don't like to do a lot of backtracking, as at the end of each child's story, you will be given a portal to insta-transport you back to where you need to be. Nice! Be aware that there are a couple of scenes where there are two or more directional arrows that point the same direction (up), but will take you to different places. The first is where you see a mansion, and the second is in the bonus chapter, but is easy enough to figure out, since you've been to that location before. Using a HINT during the adventure portion of the game will either pinpoint something on the screen or will tell you there's nothing left to do there. No directional hint available. The Hidden Object Scenes are lightly-interactive, with items listed in blue needing some kind of action before you can find/collect the object. HOS are on the challenging side, and are pretty junk-piley. This title leans heavily towards finding HO's, with a lesser emphasis on adventuring. Sights and Sounds: The graphics feel a bit dated, but there are some scenes that I absolutely loved, both in composition and the feeling that they evoked. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1777422113 The music is nicely environmental, but it's the background sounds that really shine for this one, especially during the first story. So deliciously creepy! The voices are well-done overall. CE Content:

Integrated Strategy Guide
Bonus Chapter
6 Wallpapers
18 Concept Art
3 Screensavers
4 Music Tracks (can be saved)
Bonus Chapter: The bonus chapter is not necessary to feel like you've had a good ending, but it does give us some extra closure, and the feeling of a job well done. The gameplay is the same, but there is a bit more to-ing and fro-ing than there was in the main game. Verdict: This title feels a little dated and a bit sparse on the bonus content, but is overall an enjoyable game. This is a perfect game to play when you have limited time, due to the fact that there are three separate stories/areas to explore. Children's Plight is HO-heavy, so I'd recommend it to anyone who loves finding hidden objects!
I wanted to enjoy this - it's a little old, but seemed good, with pleasant if dated artwork. Slightly rough hint system. And then I hit a part where not once, but twice essential items were missing from the HOG scenes, rendering them impossible to complete and for me to progress in the story. I'm disappointed! I wanted to see the rest of the story and hear the rest of the really cheesey voice acting!
I like it. It's fun to play and I had no problems or bugs =)
Frustrating.... two missing objects in two HOG games... unable to progress!
This is an update on my last review. They have put out a update on this game and fixed everything. The game now runs smooth all the way without a glitch ! Thank you Steam.
It was a early attempt of Hidden Object Adventure Game making for Ukrainian studio, some of graphics was advancing for the others', high-quality image, creative solutions for rescuing childrens from they unique plights. The second child's plight impresses me a lot, which apply Benjamin Franklin's classical experiment in this plot. That game is compatible for win10 and higher version, and has good fps with playing. but this game is comparing the other parts of Redemption Cemetery,It is the most tedious storyline, kind of logical flaws showed obviously(Why not retake the ladder from part 2 and put under the ferriswheel and let that girl get down, ps. that cutscene of ferriswheel rotation is only three rooms in interval, shouldn't be far in the ground.), and undurable flaw is that some items is on seeking list and can use in the some specific puzzles, but can't take it for using just go further way to get a item which is the same as the before one, and some items can't stay in itemlist when that part is no longer using, but when next part's puzzle needs it for interacting, u needs to find it by complex way. For example, that pocket knife are using in short period time, abandon it and part 2 when u needs to cut the tape off, u needs to play a HOS scene for getting it. Bonus story is too boring, find a way to go into bunker, play HO scene, get a item, use it in a proper space, backtrack, play HO scene, it's like developer who is brainless to create this in such monotonous gameplay. I think it's the worst part of the Redemption Cemetery series, It's boring and boring gameplay.
Didn't last as long as the usual HOG (7ish hours) but still a good game. There is no map option and the hint button will not show you an arrow for where to go if you are not in a HO game.
This is a very good game. It took about 6 hours and has a bonus game. There is no map but, there is a strategy guide. Good story line, graphics & puzzles.
This was a decent standard hidden object game.
