About
Black Iron, a state-of-the-art penitentiary located on Jupiter’s icy moon Callisto, is overrun with hordes of infected inmates. As a modest prison guard your job is simple – get to the last escape pod and get out alive!
Fight through dozens of unique enemies and challenging environmental hazards as you battle your way out of the prison. But you aren’t the only survivor looking to escape. Your rivals – a deranged custodian, a violent gangster, a maniacal lunch lady, and more – can’t wait to step over your corpse and save themselves.
Only one of you can make it off the moon – make sure it’s you!
Each death is a learning experience. Starting fresh each run, build up your loadout with powerful experiments, weapon schematics, and buffs to battle through Black Iron. When you die (and you will die), use your hard-earned loot to purchase new permanent weapons, suits, and skills. Get stronger, experiment with your strategy, and get out!
You're not the only person to survive the initial outbreak or willing to use a bit of violence to get to the last escape pod. Some prisoners and even your correctional services colleagues are just as eager to escape and will make escaping harder by attacking you remotely or challenging you to a one-on-one duel. Race them, attack them back remotely, and fight them to the death to make it out in one piece.
When you die, you leave more than a coverall-clad carcass. Defeat the reanimated corpse of the last guard to succumb to the prison’s dangers to earn a powerful experiment. But beware, it’s not going to be an easy fight. The semi-alive guard has the same loadout they had when they met an untimely end and a few extra tricks up its sleeve to keep things spicy.
You’ve made the perfect build, battled through bosses, ran through rivals, killed your corpse, found all the files, and now you’re standing in front of that last escape pod. Sure, you could leave it all behind for the sweet taste of freedom… or risk it all in one last hardcore do-or-die run back through the prison. Fail and you lose all your purchased gear, skills, suits, and weapons. But IF you succeed, you’ll unlock new powerful permanent gear.
An irreverent attitude, unique presentation, vivid graphic novel style, and a 180bpm original arcade-punk soundtrack by Mutato Muzika enhance [REDACTED]’s sci-fi setting and fast white-knuckle action.
Hades if Zagreus was a prison guard and had a freaking gun

I do not mean it like that to disrespect, its just there are a lot more elements from Hades in this game than I care to admit. That said, [REDACTED] is a great game, honestly it feels very fun to play on Steam deck similar to Hades. There are some pros and cons to the game for me compared to the other rogueslite games out there so here are some thoughts of mine. - This game is fun to play lets get that clear first. Its kind of grindy but it works if you are veteran rogueslite player and love playing these kind of games. - The artstyle and visuals are good. They are kinda cel-shaded comic-drawn style, feels different also not bad. - The soundtracks of the game is really cool tbf. All of them, they are not legendary music or something but for the context of this game its very good. - There is not much story here, actually nothing at all. There's some virus outbreak in Black Iron prison and you need to escape. You find bunch of rivals later on who will try to race you to the pod and that's basically it. Someone named Mr. Green keeps tabs on you during the run and that's all. - The ranged weapons and melee weapons in this game are kinda questionable. Some of them are very good and some of them not good at all. Same for the hazard abilities (shall I call it boons lol), I feel like there is a serious mismatch in ability balancing through weapons and powers and the only way to offset that is by grinding the heck out of contrabands to get more upgrades. - The game can get a bit boring after some time as there are not much lore expansion or new elements later in the game so it can feel like the game is not fun anymore (this is mostly for late game runs where you are too OP so it feels boring without challenge or something new). Overall this is a bit more simpler version of Hades' rogueslite system, can be fun but also depends on taste. Can't say I strongly recommend it but do play it if you like rogueslites in general. A solid 7/10 from me.
Loved my time with it. But I have to say the final gimmick is too dumb. You finish all objectives and get to the end and it has you run it one more time. If you fail this run every single unlockable item you've worked to unlock is reset and your progress is wiped to zero... I literally stepped away after demolishing the first biome's boss to pee and came back to a screen saying "timer expired". Apparently I didn't pause and now the game's reset to square one Edit - Two days later I'm back playing from scratch and having fun seeing how fast I build from scratch, so the devs knew what they were doing and I bow to them
amazing roguelike, manhunt but in a trolly cartoony vibe! a must play!
Товарищи чистое мошенничество, запускаешь, а там соглашение или еще что-то. Белый экран. Все, танцевал с бубном ничего не помогло. Оформил рефанд - не покупайте ОСТОРОЖНО СКАМ
White screen, accept/decline buttons dont work. Typical EGS product
One of the best games on the Steam Deck. The style, the sound design, the attention to details, the blistering rhythm, the perfectly chosen enemies, the gorgeous stylized animations. Overall, this game is a 10/10. I'd love a DLC or a sequel.
This game is absolutely chaotic fun. The characters are hilarious, the bosses are engaging, and the amount of weapons, suits, and upgrades is vast. The meta progression is really solid. I will say its probably biggest issue is the in run perks or experiments it calls them. The skills can be a bit shallow but the out of run options help make up for it.
This is an easy recommend. But it's a slow burn. Ngl the first 8 hrs for me were quite a slog. The games starts off with a pretty high difficulty and only after the 8 hr mark had I upgraded and unlocked enough stuff for the game to feel more fun. The initial grind in those first 8 hrs was, well, very grindy. Multiple currencies, and they only unlock/upgrade one specific thing, so in a run you'll be lucky to get a small handful of the specific currency you need. Weapons feel good to use, some more than others, so you'll definitely find something that works for you/feels good to play (Barman shankers were my fav). Sick aesthetic. Lots of cool ideas like rival characters and trying to kill them during the run or at the end of the run. With a multitude of difficulty modifiers once you beat a run the first time. One the the biggest weak parts of the game (and the reason I'm not super compelled to keep playing to utilize all those cool modifiers) is the experiments (this game's boons). Although they have different types like cryo, combustion, physical, etc; to me they felt incredibly samey. Effects rarely felt like the 'effect' mattered and rarely had synergies to the point of 'just take the one with the most damage increase' (hence samey). Maybe that's a me-issue and not the game but it would've been really cool if the experiments altered attacks or builds in a way that builds felt more unique run after run. Other than that, everything else is pretty damn solid. It's a well put together game. The feeling of this game was similar to how I felt playing Sworn - it didn't quite reach the level of Hades but it is fun, competent and solid enough to be a good time.
Не успел начать играть - ноготь сломал, пока геймпад чинил. 10/10
The game is fine until the rivals... Can't take time to think about what you want or need, just rush everything because of them... I like roguelike but not the one where time is the essence...
