About
Recettear is the story of an item shop, the girl who lives in it, and the fairy who turned her life upside down. Recette Lemongrass finds herself in charge of an item shop built into her house, in order to pay back a loan her father took and then skipped out on - and Tear, her newfound fairy "companion", won't take no for an answer! As Recette, you have to decide how you'll get your stock - either through playing the markets in town or going out into the wild with an adventuring friend and thrashing beasts until they give up the goodies - how much to sell things for, what the shop should look like, and how to best go about getting the money Tear needs to pay off the loan. If you can't come up with the money... well, hope you like living in a cardboard box.

Very fun game!
It's fun but there's an annoying bug with controller where you have to keep recalibrating it after it randomly goes dead. That's OK though, the game is cool.
Good game from an era where people were making games, not parodies of games. Skip the tutorials for more fun; they are excessive.

Ohio! I have no idea why I've played this really basic dungeon diving game for almost 40 hours, but I have and I do not regret it.

This game scratches many many itches for me as a gamer. I love buy/sell, shopkeeper-ey type games, and it's so fun to play! The dungeon crawl stuff wasn't as well honed as I wish it was, but it's all about finding/buying stuff, then turning around and selling said stuff. Ahhhhhh.
pretty cute and fun merchant/dungeon crawler game i remember i was got to play and had fun with moonlighter very similar game this one have a really nice retroish 2d anime touches i recommend it a lot
I love this game, the mechanics when selling items are very fun, the story is interesting and funny and the recruitable characters are very varied. However, the only thing about the game that does cause me some dissatisfaction is the combat factor, which is a bit simple to me. In general a solid game, I recommend it! :D
i love it
