As the commander of an immensely powerful star destroyer, you’ll battle pirates, explore anomalies, befriend aliens, scavenge battle wreckage, mine asteroids, and discover artifacts. Choose your path as a roguish do-gooder, crafty space-trader or power-hungry privateer – or maybe a little of each! Buy larger and more powerful craft with your hard-earned credits, and outfit them with a variety of wicked weapons and defenses. Set in a galaxy of fantastic sights, and secrets to be found, Rebel Galaxy is above all a space epic of adventure, exploration, and combat.

とかく自機操作や貨物売買･戦闘ルールなど諸々煩雑で面倒になりがちな宇宙のオープンワールドゲームをお安くお手軽カジュアルに楽しむことができます。貿易･海賊･正義の味方など一通りやりたいことやれてマップもそこそこあります。惜しむらくはシングルプレイ専用なこと。このゲームが他社同類と大きく異なるのがBGM。めちゃカッコよくてそれが聞きたくて7年前に買ったけど今でもたまにやります。登場する宇宙船もバリエーション豊かでどの宇宙船を駆って広大な大海原へ繰り出そうか迷うほど。ストーリーモード終えても各ギルドから出される豊富なミッションで飽きずに長く遊べます。買って損はないゲームです。

Still my favourite space freelancer game. Love the simple but replayable design, the open universe, the ships, the weapons, and the quirky two-dimensional battleship-style gameplay that lets me scratch ANOTHER naval itch as well. Great game for blowing off steam every night after work, just doing random quests and adventures
Super late to this, but this game is one the best I ever played.
Задумка вроде прикольная и поначалу игра затягивает. Но по итогу игра искуственно затянута гриндом для продвижению по сюжету, гринд представлен однообразным фармом денег для апгрейда коробля.
Reminds me of Freelancer but combat is more like AC Black Flag's ship combat.

Great game, beautiful space!! Finished main campaign. This game is like Freelancer, but 2D, imagine like pirate ship in open sea. The story is like Galaxy On Fire 2 Valkyrie DLC, Virax in this game is equivalent to Void, Trell is equivalent to Khador. Jump Gate system is like in Fishlabs Deep 3D. Early game is kinda hard, mid to late game is easy as long as you have ship with many turrets, Death Star everything with Particle Laser easy win!! Broadside cannon is only useful in early game & when you fight ship with strong shield. 10/10 awesome
A great space pirate game with excellent capital ship combat. I recently revisited this on Steam Deck to see how it played (fantastic, btw, just use the touch screen to get through the launcher page) and couldn't put it down. The gameplay is pure fun and easily makes up for the repetition in missions. Is it the best game ever made? No, but the music, visuals, and great controls work so well together that I've sunk many more hours into this humble little game than the vast majority of AAA games I've played. It's a bummer that the developers disbanded after the sequel, but it seems like they're doing well from what I've read. Hats off to them and my sincere thanks for making one of my favorite games.
