Reality Mixer lets you bring real objects into VR. It uses the camera on the headset to show the real object and its surroundings in the current VR environment (game). You can use: keyboard & mouse, a racing wheel, HOTAS, a drink on your desk, a phone, tablet, chair, couch, etc.

Wow, actually usefull mixed reality. Had an quest 3 in the past returned it. Got a vive pro and im using mixed reality more on this headset then the quest 3. Really well made app.
Just what I was looking for! I use it for Elite Dangerous so I can see and use some custom control panels I developed. You can set up multiple pass-through boxes and set them as needed for whatever you want to see. As the description says, for Quest 3 you also need to have Virtual Desktop, and it takes some setup but it wasn't too tough. Some suggestions for the developer - It would be great if you could anchor the boxes to some user-defined pattern. This way I could display the pattern on my control panels and always ensure the boxes are aligned right (though so far it does pretty well without them... but I do have to adjust them sometimes). Also a way to shift the entire set of boxes (maybe using the thumbsticks?) rather than one at a time in edit mode would be nice. Overall, great tool if you want VR imersion while still being able to interact with real-world objects!
I'm trying to use this with DCS, wearing a physical kneeboard and with physical MFD rings. The resolution on the Index cameras is too poor for me to be able to read my kneeboard. The camera boxes can't be made small enough for me to put them over the edges of my virtual MFDs so that I can see the physical buttons behind, so that I can see what buttons I'm pushing. They either obscure parts of the MFD (which has the label for what the button is), or other important controls that are around the MFD.
Works with Quest 3 via Virtual Desktop! Absolute game changer for VR especially in driving or flying sim. Please add Open XR support so we can bypass steam vr for better performance.
As a Quest user, this one literally requires me to BUY the Virtual Desktop app to work. Otherwise, it's just a background process that doesn't really do anything. Was hoping to use this for Elite Dangerous... but I'll be getting my refund instead... what's the point of selling/buying this if it's only half the product?
Worst app ever not working crash Steam vr when edit boxes.
.

YES THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT IVE BEEN LOOKING FOR!! I WONT KNOCK OVER MY BASE STATIONS ANYMORE. THANK YOU!!!
TAKES SOME PRACTICE AND A LITTLE BUGGY BUT VERY USEFUL
