I picked up GameGuru Classic hoping for an easy way to build quick FPS or horror-style prototypes — and for what it is, it actually performs quite well. The drag-and-drop editor, terrain tools and the large library of built-in assets make it possible to create a basic playable level in under an hour.

What I liked:
• Beginner-friendly interface; great for experimenting without coding knowledge. • Lots of built-in assets (weapons, enemies, props, terrain). • Lua scripting, simple AI, physics — enough for small projects. • You can export your project as a standalone game.

What I didn’t like:
• More complex levels or custom assets can cause bugs / FPS drops.

Verdict:
GameGuru Classic is a fun and approachable tool for small prototypes or creative sandbox projects. If you aim for something polished or modern, expect limitations — but for beginners, it’s enjoyable. Recommended — but with realistic expectations.

Don' waste your money, this engine doesn't have proper enemy ai, and is just in general low quality, if it goes on sale, yeah, but otherwise, don't waste your money.

You want to start to be creative ? This program gives you the opportunity. Why this program ? Not only does it have many standard features, it has also a very high developer support and an unreal large community support. This results in many, many "how to" in writing and videos. You can start by placing some assets on the canvas, placing some targets and you already have a ready to play game. Hassle free, unlike so many other programs. After you get comfortable with the editor, you can tweak your game by adding more assets, and even get more out of your game with LUA scripts. Best part : you don't have to know LUA scripting when you start, there are a large range of scripts available inside the editor to get you started. So don't be shy, give it a try.
(game not complete as it's not a game and I didn't make a game, review posted at only .2 hours of play part of my review all my games effort) (short version) I honestly didn't give this a fair shake, when it was overly cumbersome to use the entity editor I decided to read the comments, it seems that this editor suffers from many issues and in all honestly I'm not really interested in being a game creator at this time.
