this is the closest game to half life alyx type of grapchics. Top 3 vr games
So far an amazing game, I didn't get on release, so I can't speak to launch issues, but I'm having no problems. The parkour is really really fun, you have to manually swing your hands to do a jump, and there's lots of it. You're equipped with a simple bow but powerful to defeat your enemies, and unlock other tools/skills throughout the game. The game puts in secret areas to make exploring and parkouring fun to further upgrade your character. The enemies AI is pretty good, where there's special enemies that make you strategize your next moves, the stealth is pretty good too with stealth takedowns, and theres plenty of ways to kill enemies, either it being the environment or you're own arsenal. And the levels are unique, with visually pleasing scenes and puzzles to make you think. Some annoyances I have are that you just randomly grab stuff all the time (maybe an issue with index controllers). But it can break immersion and gameplay when i'm trying to move around and accidentally grab/grapple to other stuff. Overall, the game feels very good to play and immersive. 9/10, even at 40$ it's worth it.
Szerettem a játék világát. A játék szép.
8.5/10. Excellent combat and parkour that gets better as you progress. bit buggy here and there but possesses more challenge and depth than most other VR games. graphics get better after the first little segment (which has some real ugly elements) and is an good looking game overall. gameplay is generally more challenging than most other VR games. I dont mind the difficulty of the parkour although one segment was frustrating where the grappling suddenly became crucial with no practice area nearby so had to try that one about 20 times. (they should have a little practice zone available as the precision required is zero prior to that then suddenly the skill floor is raised quickly) Generally Parkour feels great although the running command can feel a bit inconsistent and the character is always panting which i think is a bug. some great set pieces for climbing and manuevering. Combat is decent but the bow sometimes feels unimpactful (not damage wise but feel wise). Combat gets more fun as you progress.
Played on a quest 3 with steam link. Great visuals and art direction along with fun gameplay and an interesting story. The climbing and traversal feel top notch with the occasional dash of workable jank mixed in for good measure. Combat is easy to take cover and last stand yourself to a victory but if you take advantage of the playground each combat area has it becomes a fun flow of chaos. I did have an issue with being unable to access the menu or quit the game without using the steam overlay once the game was in progress though. End of the day I'm glad I picked this one up and gave it a go!
I must say that I am really enjoying playing this game after completing other titles like Half Life Alyx & Asgard's Wrath 1 & 2. I purchased it on sale well after they resolved some major issues that other players complained about (I never played the release version myself). The graphics & gameplay are mostly great, however, there still remain some issues with grappling (which is required in many locations) where the grappling hook flickers & glitches, sometimes making it difficult to get a lock on a grapple pole. Also I'm finding that aiming the bow & arrow can sometimes be difficult, and some of the puzzles (eg. unlocking a door) can involve some frustratingly precise aligning of shots or shield throws. But aside from that, I am thoroughly enjoying the story & gameplay (be prepared to die a lot, but you typically respawn close to where you died). The living statue battles can be insanely difficult (especially at any above "easy" difficulty setting, with 5+ statues at once against you), but the action is well implemented & satisfying. And for some reason when I need to make a long jump by running, it doesn't always seem to enter running mode & I have to retry it a few times to make the jump (it seems to be a game glitch & not a controller malfunction, as it does this at times with both my Q3 & Pico controllers). For now I'm going to give this 4 stars & will be happy to raise it to 5 if the devs can fix these issues. I feel they're so close to an awesome AAA game if they can refine the gameplay a bit (think Half Life Alyx quality). Overall, well done devs & I sincerely hope your premature (buggy) release hasn't hurt this game's adoption too badly. I feel this game is definitely worth getting when it's on sale, but at the moment, I can't necessarily recommend paying full price for it until these issues are resolved.
