About
Sublimity is a first-person horror game that drops you into an abandoned building complex. As field researcher Liam, you wake up disoriented and searching for your team. But as you explore, you uncover the dark experiments your own company has been conducting. Hide from creatures, piece together the truth, and try to find an exit.
The Backrooms:
The walls are a monotonous yellow and the atmosphere is characterized by silence and isolation, which is reinforced by the old, damp carpets and the bright light of the neon tubes. It is a place where reality seems to blur and madness lurks.
Navigating The Backrooms requires caution and constant vigilance, because it means that something unknown is wandering around there. It is an eternal paradox, a labyrinth without an exit that challenges players to overcome their own fear and confusion.
The Poolrooms:
An extensive complex of interconnected rooms and corridors, slightly submerged in undulating, lukewarm water.
Each area of the level varies greatly in size and structure, from uniform pools and corridors to more open, unusually shaped areas.
These tiles are incredibly flawless, all identical and without a single blemish on their shiny surfaces. All areas of the level are connected in a meaningless way without any easily recognizable purpose
Features:
Immersive Graphics: High-quality visuals offer players an intricate and frightening world to discover.
Stealth and Agility: Gameplay hinges on stealth tactics, enhanced by parkour-like movement.
Real survival horror: You are not a fighter - Try to survive the horrors of The Backrooms, you must either escape or hide.

First of all, I'd like to thank the developer for giving me a key to try their game. I am no Steam curator, but I feel like I have to point out some stuff. 1. I get the concept, but the idea is vague, it felt like a walking simulator till I encountered the hostile entity. I didn't fell constantly threatened as I thought I should be, just confused (I barely heard the entity screaming my entire 20-ish minutes, only heard it towards the end when I went into a strange dark area. Maybe you can try to make it feel more threatning? To actually feel like you have a looming horror you need to hide from?). 2. The controls aren't that well underlined, I didn't knew I could sprint with shift if it wasn't for my reflexes (might be wrong with this one since perhaps I didn't look careful enough? I felt like I should point it out tho). 3. Speaking of sprint, it would be nice to have another way to see our stamina other than just hearing Chloe sighing of fatigue (had moments where I would hear her sighing constantly because I did't knew I was close to having no stamina left for a few times in a row). 4. Graphics are nice, may need some tweaking in terms of UI (for exemple, the loading screen seemed a bit rough). That's what I had on my mind from the top of my head right now. Nothing is serious and I understand that the game is very early access (as of writing this comment), I just wanted to give my fair constructive criticism to help the developer. Thanks again for the key and I will leave this comment on a positive note to encourage the dev.
Very good backrooms game so far, can't wait for further levels. One suggestion is to translate the notes in game to English please
This game has come a long way from when it was first released. The potential was there and I could see it but I'm gonna brutally honest here. It was a hot mess back then. Clipping. Falling through the map. Lights flashing everywhere. Language selection not working. Walls not touching the floor and the floor itself disappearing or just not even there. Back in December it was updated but I never got around to playing until this evening and I have to say. It is a completely different game. I still have the resolution issue where if I play it at 1440 it doesn't run right but at 1080p it ran really solid at 60fps. The issues that were there before are now gone. I even wanted to test the basement area because that was where some light issues were really bad. That area is now under construction. This game has been reworked, the level changed and expanded upon and for the price it's worth checking out. Stoked for the developer. You can tell they put a lot of time into making this work.
Impressive for such an early access, and features something that instantly makes it a recommendation on my list: doesn't focus on entities and lets you simply wander what should be the creepiest place to ever exist. Beat the game and got the ending where the girl is singing at the end! Very fun and super awesome realistic backrooms game and i will search for the poolrooms next
I really like this game so far. It has some really weird bit which I love. I hope there's more of that to come. It's a bit buggy but that's too be expected at this early stage. One glaring problem was the notes. I selected English in the menu but only 1 note was in English so I couldn't read the others. I like what I have seen so far. Looking forward to seeing more of this game.
This game looks very promising. There are so many interesting things you can find in the backrooms, it is real fun to explore everything. I constantly asked myself: Who put it here? Did actually people live or work here? This game leaves lots of room to your imagination. On the same time you have an eerie feeling that you are not alone. Sometimes you see little creatures running from room to room, one time I was chased by a monster and had to jump to a different floor. This is nice. Allthough it was a little high for my fragile body. The only problems I see at the moment are clipping problems. You can walk through some walls and if you are standing close to a wall, you can sometimes see through it. Also when you crouch, some spots you can crouch into are lower than your eyes and it doesn't look natural if you crouch into them. Oh, and I liked the mechanic, that you have to enter some thin passages sideways. I wonder why not more games use this technique, because it seems so natural. I noticed one problem worth mentioning. There is an area where you have to find a key to get through a certain door. For the player not to leave the area, the entering passage is blocked by a shell, or bookshelf, I don't remember exactly. It is in the room where all these chairs with thin legs are put on top of each other. I was able to climb over that blocking barricade because I was still looking for this door. But I was not able to climb back, so I had to restart the game. All in all it is a great experience. I also like beeing able to see my legs when I look down. Nice! And I can't wait to see some more rooms to continue wondering about this place.
