Razenroth is an action shooter with a dark atmosphere, enriched with the elements of roguelike and RPG. All the levels, weather conditions, distribution and quantity of key elements are generated randomly. Thanks to this fact, a single game is different each time.

Cool little game. When you die you go back to the start, but some upgrades are permanent and remain. The levels are randomly generated so even when you go back it doesn't feel like doing the exact same thing again. I assume that most people won't spend much more than several hours on the game, but it's priced accordingly. Also the game plays well at 21:9 resolutions, good job devs!
Это просто прекрасно.
No time for a detailed review so I give this game a rank C. Okay game - not bad but you can skip it or try on sale. See my profile for more details about my reviews. Additional notes: I hesitated giving it a D, but that would make it a thumbs down... and I don't think the game is bad. Just between mediocre and okay. Nothing for me to feast on, but many new/young players might enjoy this very indie/low budget top down shooter with bullet hell mechanisms, lovecraft ambience and amateurish drawings.
RAZENROTH: KRITIK I liked it rog(h)uelike an indie game with more than 1 time playability 2D done right RPG element done right had fun i recommend it visibility wasnt of my likin
The beginning just doesn't look promising at all and he progress seems to be too slow, while it's not really comfortable to start with, there isn't even an autocast for the only (ranged) attack that you get at the beginning besides the cooldown/resource based attack you also have. The UI isn't intuitive, for example Escape button doesn't close other menus but instead just opens the main one, the map can't be transparent so it's not too comfortable to walk with it and there's no minimap.
It's not something I would purchase nor would it be a choice pick of games for me. The game is functional but mediocre overall. Personally not a fan of the forced permadeath mechanic.
Неплохо как бета, но как полноценная игра очень слабо. Малое разнообразие скилов за два забега повторилось все. Прошел один забег и забил.
I actually only played for around 4 hours. The others were for the cards years ago. THe game is overall an okay game. Basic twin stick shooter. Some bosses are just junk. Example there is a boss called Rognar? i think and if you do not attack the stupid rocks that drop the enemy only takes 1 DAMAGE PER HIT!!! and has like at "Heck" difficulty they have probably like 1 million HP. There is nothing to tell you this. This is also the same for one boss swamp thing? you have to burst the bubbles when they are near them. That is my only gripes with the game is that there is no way to know these things. Would still recommend the game.
