good game but ubisoft sucks

Hate the new music ofc, but it's the rayman i grew up with, plus some added bonuses and features. Can't be mad. Got it on sale, not paying full price for this fossil lmao

Its interesting to have all of the versions you could play here. The different OST is not much of a deal breaker so i'd give it a check.

This is literally the best decision I’ve ever made about purchasing this game. I genuinely don’t understand why majority of people are hating on this just because they had to remake the entire OST, it’s ridiculous and reminds me of the situation with Sonic Origins. The soundtrack isn’t as bad as everyone says, i actually like a decent amount of them. Ubisoft is finally acknowledging Rayman after a decade later. I would be grateful that they’re doing this for us instead of receiving nothing. Stick with your gut if you’re interested in playing this game, it’s so worth it!

God I absolutely adore the original Rayman. I'm almost certain it's one of the first games I ever played, all the way back on the Sega Saturn as a kid. While the story is relatively simple, the gameplay and world building are the things that truly make this a masterpiece. The boss fights are memorable, the level designs are so fluid and well thought out, and the original soundtrack has to be one of the best of it's time. I was so reminiscent playing this title and so happy to see its anniversary celebrated with a steam release. We got numerous versions in one easy launcher, widescreen support, bonus levels, and the behind the scenes look of how it was developed. This updated version of the game sadly did strip away the incredible soundtrack we grew up with, which was a pretty big letdown. Also the addition of the rewind feature removes the difficulty if you decide to use it. I look at Rayman with childhood nostalgia and love it to bits, I'm so glad have played it once more. 10/10
