About

RAVENSBURG is a fast-hitting RPG inspired by camp and class B horror movies of the early 2000s. Step into a city turned upside down by a terrifying Gnostic cult as a vampire sent by the Church to defeat the diabolical menace. You're the last resort, the pill that is too hard to swallow, the cure bitter than the sickness. And you must save the City before the Demiurgic forces destroy it completely. Survive this blend of Gothic horror, Lovecraftian tale and anime aesthetics with the help of your 11 charismatic companions, each with their own personality and agenda, forge friendships or more with them as you work together to reclaim the city.
Embody Valdrich, a vampire with a gift for fighting and a rather questionable talent for thinking, and Kazia, his loyal companion with a lethal aim, but whose patience is shorter than the lives of their enemies.
The world of RAVENSBURG is extremely bleak and grim, intended for a MATURE AUDIENCE ONLY seeking a thought-provoking experience-one where cruelty, depravity, misery, and evil lurk around every corner, and only a select few are willing to face them, not always for the purest of reasons. The game does not shy away from dark themes or from exposing the worst aspects of the human condition, which are often met with cynicism and a bitter sense of humor.
This does not mean that RAVENSBURG is a world without HOPE. At every opportunity, the player is given both the means and the freedom to resolve the problems that arise along the way and is encouraged to never surrender; to embrace the journey, no matter the cost.

This game is rough around the edges, I guess it's due to RPG Maker's limitations. But you can clearly see how much passion and soul was put into it. Stylish visuals, good atmosphere, gothic waifus.

Great little gem of a game! The art is topnotch and full of style. It has a nice gothic look without being edgy or overly derivative. The writing is extremely witty and has a lot of charm. The cast is also very memorable and every playable character gets their own sidequest to help you learn more about them. The length is just right for the price too. The enemy design is also fantastic. As a fan of gothic and horror literature and film, I quite enjoy the quotes and nods to various novels and works of art throughout as well. I went with my gut and bought the game at full price and am so glad I did it. I'll be keeping an eye on the creator from now on. Hoping to see more written works and art from them in the future, but another game would be even better!
Vampire, dating sim, RPG, horror? Say no more. I'm in.
I recommend. So I'm pretty sure I'm at the end, we had the climatic final boss, and now it's seemingly a victory lap of dialog, which I'll do later, but for now I figured I'd rate it since the meat of the game is over, I assume anyways. First of all, the music? Pretty alright. It served it's purpose pretty well. The companions are fun, I liked all of them. Extremely fun designs. The dev had mentioned they were going for a certain vibe for a visual novel or anime that I don't recall, but the designs are very "early yugioh" to me, and that's pretty pog. The atmosphere is great and I dig the Helsing sort of thing. However. Ultimately, I recommend this, but be warned, and this was confirmed to be changed in the future, but there's no way to grind or anything, mobs are very finite, and there's very few. (Not that you need any, anyways.) There's also a massive amount of typos, but that of course will get patched in time too, I'm sure, and honestly it gives it even more of a soulful feel. There's two important things to tell you, the 7-ish hours isn't exactly accurate, once again, I haven't finished it as of writing this, but a LOT of the game-time is backtracking to a fountain to travel and pick up another party member to do their subquest. I would say that's half of the game, and it's not exactly a bad thing, if you know that companion subquests are a lot of the content. They're extremely short and simple in of themselves, but there's bugs abound. I couldn't finish Rozen's or Claudia's (I think her name is, the aristocrat who wants food.) Secondly, the other important thing is the combat is a joke. It's so, so painfully easy. Items, weapons, etc, honestly it doesn't matter. Pick up the halfling girl, and the purple girl with the giant fat awooga hummina hummina knockers, and you're set. You can freeze/paralyze EVERYTHING and EVERYONE in the game, and they can't do a single thing about it. That costs 10 SP, and Vampire Touch, or whatever, costs 20 sp, and it was dealing 1130 damage every turn, up to 3,000 with a crit. The final boss (Assuming) went down in 5 turns. You can gimp yourself, I'm sure, by using other party members or combinations, and you don't have to use the most broken combo if you want to experience the actual gameplay, but I simply couldn't resist. This is clearly a product made from soul and passion, and it shows, and I think that's pretty cooool. Edit: Claudia's quest has been patched the day after this review, extremely based dev
cool game
played it because im a vampire, stayed for my cute goth vampire tomboy pale tsundere elf short milf loyal tall ginger femboy yandere pale mommy girlfriend
surprisingly fun game, reminds me of old dragon quest games. great characters and even better music that reminds me of old doom and doom 2. the writing is fun and engaging.
Horrible game with misleading tags. Literally the first quest I did with the little blond boy to find one of the mansion maid lost flute is a gay romance one, and there is no tag lgbt on the game store. Also as an RPGmaker game the dev did the bare minimum when it comes to combat changes, the only different thing you see from other rpgmaker games is that he/she made so that your characters can learn all their abilities right at the start and that you can't bring all your party members with you. And you know jrpgs in games you can't take the mc off the party? well in this game you have to bring the mc and Katia with you all the time so you only get to chose 2 people to bring with you and theres like almost 13 characters you can have in your party. Anyways bad game i regret buying it
