Buggy as hell, extreme lack of clarity. built a loop - crash let the king into my castle - game simply stops progressing (no next wave, no death) Hire new minions - You can't see what they do from inside the level, only from the codex on the main menu meta progression? I've never had a level actually end without crashing, so my options are always to try the level again from just before the crash or to start over.
+Some player choice +Aesthetics are pretty neat -Music doesn't work for me -Game felt too simple -Roguelite-mechanics made this one feel like a chore, my main issue = Disappointing. Neutral review though. I wouldn't recommend this for myself so I won't do it you either.

This is really fun and addictive game.
I am utterly addicted to this game. My only complaint is that after about probably wave 50-60, I start to see MASSIVE framerate drops and my computer starts to really chug to keep up with all the sprites and tower attacks on the screen. Yes, my computer is a few years old, but it can play games like Fallout 4 at the highest settings without a hiccup. I feel like this is something that could maybe be streamlined? But also, I know nothing about game development so it might just be the curse of the old laptop coming to haunt me. Lol. Fantastic game.
First off I wanna say at core gameplay this game seems fun and I enjoyed it. But the reason I give it a negative review is because a gamebreaking bug. Quick little info on how the game works: - wave based tower defense where you place the tiles and design the map (with RNG) - every 25 waves a boss shows up, who'm you need to beat for a crown (skill point) - get stronger with skill points for longer and more fun runs The second bullet point is where I face a bug. 3x in a row i got soft locked after obtaining the crown and running out HP. No input's registered and only option is Alt+F4. This obviously also does not net me any crowns for beating bosses and puts me in a infitnite cycle of no upgrades.
Nice game and all, but its not polished enough for a full release. The later stages feel like a slideshow and the endless mode is basically unplayable. there are better TD game out there for a lower price
Highly enjoyable and challenging Tower Defense title. A bit of grinding to get your skill points up, but grinding I don't mind - each run is different and you get to refine/test your tactics. Was initially put off by the high price and lack of updates, but picked it up on special and noted recent comprehensive updates. Still a good buy at full price although still occasional (but not game breaking) bugs. This game is a triumph of content over style. interesting upgrade paths. There is a good guide under discussions to help newbies.
I paid less than a pound for this and i still cant recommend it. Unfortunately it crashes far to often, i am yet to complete a single game of this without it crashing. Concept wise its a good little time waster but cant recommend in its current state.
Not a bad game, a bit glitchy at times, but can be really fun. It does get difficult after stage 30 though, but hey, maybe that's just me. I'd give it an 8/10
I really like this game. It is a good old tower defense type game with some RNG thrown in. It definitely has a lot of replay value. The graphics remind me of the NES but to me that is part of its charm. It gives feelings of nostalgia for people my age. The only thing I wish would be added is the ability to zoom in and out and the ability to save your skill tree purchases between computers.
