Ravage Road

I really like this game. It is a good old tower defense type game with some RNG thrown in. It definitely has a lot of replay value. The graphics remind me of the NES but to me that is part of its charm. It gives feelings of nostalgia for people my age. The only thing I wish would be added is the ability to zoom in and out and the ability to save your skill tree purchases between computers.

I am utterly addicted to this game. My only complaint is that after about probably wave 50-60, I start to see MASSIVE framerate drops and my computer starts to really chug to keep up with all the sprites and tower attacks on the screen. Yes, my computer is a few years old, but it can play games like Fallout 4 at the highest settings without a hiccup. I feel like this is something that could maybe be streamlined? But also, I know nothing about game development so it might just be the curse of the old laptop coming to haunt me. Lol. Fantastic game.

I cannot recommend this game as there are bugs that will never be fixed. The last update was in 2023 and there seems to be no future updates on the horizon.

I paid less than a pound for this and i still cant recommend it. Unfortunately it crashes far to often, i am yet to complete a single game of this without it crashing. Concept wise its a good little time waster but cant recommend in its current state.

Not a bad game, a bit glitchy at times, but can be really fun. It does get difficult after stage 30 though, but hey, maybe that's just me. I'd give it an 8/10

Game is still glitchy as hell, (04/2/24) died multiple times with a health pot going off, if you die to the boss you have a chance of your game freezing, the bards are too strong, the goblins are too weak, lots of work needed. Great game idea, execution needs work.

a real shame that this game softlocks as often as it does, other then that its a fun game

Review Revisit Since my first review the game has received an update which has gone some way to improve the game play. There is still a way to go as you cannot run above speed 1 after wave 80 if you want all your shots to register but for me I am now able to play the game comfortably with a bit of slower waiting around, go make a cup of tea type moments. Improvements and work gain respect from me so happy to leave a positive review with the caution that I am still looking forwards to more optimisation * Previous Views* unfortunately has to be a negative review for now although i may revisit if issues are resolved. the game is unplayable past wave 80 its just a complete slide show and so i have never made it even to wave 100 because i dont have weeks of game runtime to dedicate. up until wave 70 the game is fun and if the optomization is fixed then i will definitely enjoy it but until i can even complete the game its pointless

It’s a very fun and rewarding game. The pacing is great and I feel like I learn a bit better each run on how to build my road better. Great job!
