You are a nomadic slugcat, both predator and prey in a broken ecosystem. Grab your spear and brave the industrial wastes, hunting enough food to survive, but be wary— other, bigger creatures have the same plan... and slugcats look delicious.

About
You are a slugcat. The world around you is full of danger, and you must face it – alone. Separated from your family in a devastating flood, you will need to find food and shelter between terrifying torrential downpours which threaten to drown all life. Climb through the ruins of an ancient civilization, evade the jaws of vicious predators, and discover new lands teeming with strange creatures and buried mysteries. Find your family before something makes a meal of you!
Inspired by the simplicity and aesthetics of 16-bit classics, this survival platformer requires clever decision-making, both to catch your own prey and to avoid the jaws of hungry predators. Each ravenous foe in your path will be cunning, vicious and always on the hunt – eager to sink their teeth into you, or even each other. As a small, soft slugcat you must rely on stealth and wit rather than force: learn the ecosystem and turn their strengths to your advantage. Maybe then you can survive… Rain World!

Every market we collect.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Встретился с воскресающим карамельным ящером на первой локации, не рекомендую.
I have never played a game that hates its players more than Rain World does. It is a cruel, frustrating exploration game that punishes you for having the audacity to go out and explore. Infuriating (random?) enemy placement leading to guaranteed losses, and not-random enemy placement that makes Dark Souls 2 SotFS enemy placement seem friendly and hand-holding. It really seems like the developer does not want people playing this game. Which all really sucks, because the art style and environment are great. Some of my absolute favorite games are difficult (Sekiro, Silksong, Celeste, Binding of Isaac, etc) but the difficulty in this one is just absurd. I got as far as The Leg, and I just can't anymore. It's too much. I'm done wasting time on this one, for now.
this truly has been a rain world
The kind of game that is interesting to talk about but miserable to play.
好难!!!!!!!!!!!非常难,此类游戏新手不要玩。好游戏和难游戏并不冲突。
it doesn't feel good to hate this game; i'm well aware of how well this game is loved, and i don't feel like the only sane person in the room, i feel a freak from another dimension. by all accounts this is, mostly, a great game, but it has one fatal flaw: the controls and movement. because video games are definitionally interactive, and controls are half of interaction, controls are half the equation; a good game with bad controls is like a delicious gourmet meal with nails in it; it doesn't matter how good it tastes, smells, looks, or feels, it's got nails in it! you can't eat that! if i remember correctly (been a while since i last played), sometimes a long jump is a long jump, and sometimes a long jump is a tiny hop, depending on if venus is in retrograde or something. several controls are double-bound, and you cannot change that. the movement joystick is smoothed out, despite the fact that it controls multiple actions, including actions that may need to be performed in quick succession, and therefore will be failed because of an idiotic choice by the developers. it wouldn't be as much of a problem if the game was forgiving, but it's got a scoring system or something based on how much you die, and it feels like the game is calling me a failure based on its own flaws, not mine, which is immensely frustrating. i wish i could get my money back, but i because work so much slower than other people, it's been too long since i bought it and i've played too long to get it refunded. ...and maybe steam staff would understand and give me a refund anywyay, but i'm too socially anxious to ask, and have a paralysing fear of burdening others or wasting their time.
