Amazing game hope that one day we will see part 2 and 3 for this series, The game is turn based and its amazing. It reminds me of Night Watch which really liked back in the old times, games like this are rare this days...
I LOVED this game, but they never finished it. Irks me 'till this day. I really wish they would finish it.
It's a good game with good potential, but the fact that the dev abandoned it is a huge reason why I don't recommend playing this unless you're okay making your own headcanon as to what might happen in Ch2 and Ch3
its been along time since a game has had the story , game play, art style, and voice acting to make me sit down for longer than 15 or 20 minuets in one sitting. I'm really digging the third person top-down, point and click, rts style , feels like it an extremely refined version of fire emblems system mixed with a bit of metal gears and siphon filters styles, while paying homage to games like ff7 and parasite eve.. really dig it first session was 110 mind, taking a break. let y'all know.
Rain of Reflections is a game set in a world where there are no children. In other words, a paradise! Oh wait, it's supposed to be a dystopian future! Oh well! While the presentation is fantastic, the gameplay is a lacking. There are three types of puzzles and all of them are pitifully easy. Then the XCOM style combat becomes tedious, because people in this world are so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing that they can dodge 10 bullets in a row if they have even a shred of motivation left. The premise and world are interesting, but it's not really explained why nobody can have children anymore. There are also choices that you can make to change the story, but you don't see them play out, as the latest and only chapter in the trilogy was released 3 years ago by the time of writing this review. Although the ambition of this indie project is admirable, I don't recommend getting it, as it is an unfinished game that is mediocre at best. 2/5
I keep trying turn base games but they are just not my cup of tea.
