Rain Island

this game is very pretty to look at, and that's all it is. you will get more enjoyment out of looking at the game's colorful screenshots than you will from the dull gameplay. the game doesn't explain that changing characters changes the guns, it doesn't explain what all these power-ups are doing, and the gameplay is basically, "face your character left or right and hold down the shoot button until the enemy health bar is gone" it feels like a graphic designer looked up a tutorial on how to make video games.

一个很有意思的小游戏，流程不长，普通难度也就45min吧。游戏方式可以理解为boss rush，boss的出招还是挺明显的，容错率也很高。 就本游戏而言还是挺好玩的，而且不贵。但是整个系列不推荐全买，买一两个玩玩试试就好，多了很容易腻，而且各个游戏之间的换皮怪（其实连皮都没有换）很多。 BOSS扑过来，我一个滑铲，从他下方划过。并用手雷把他炸死，战利品掉一地。

At first, sorry if the review is bad :D~ I played every single Island game and as expected, not even one is bad. I like the minimalism for the gunplay and movement. When someone list that as a deficit, the more the various bosses stand out. To be honest i never realized you can change your character, so you have different classes and i only played the default char. But even with just one char, the game is great. The entire Island series is one of my most liked series ive ever played on steam. Thumbs up for the great work!

英文不足为惧，BGM电音很带感，手残能玩很久

锁定的新角色，并不是要打到奖杯才解锁的，你玩高难度就可以用那两个角色，都是技能手雷不开盾的硬核，那个妹子竟然滑铲都是耗电池，我哭了（前几个角色打奖杯的时候差点尿出来）

i feel like 17 (and 1 more coming soon) games of this series are just too much , considering they come with no differences (gameplay , graphics) i bought rain island because it looked a little different with the rain (graphically speaking) and then star island just to see a different one (choice made just because of the poethic name compared to others) Despite this heavy recycling not even Greta would be happy about , the gameplay feels fun and for the asking price is a fair deal My suggestion dont buy them all , start with just some 2 or 3 if you want to give it a try Extra positive thing lots of languages are available
