Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.88/day in the week to Jul 21 → 2.8/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

A game that catches you by surprise, you don't think that a railroad management and logistics sim would be that deep and then you look up and have 100hrs in it. 10/10 no notes

I just could not get over the 10 feet view distance and terrible controls.
This game does need multi players after you reach day 20, you can play this by yourself up untuil then but after day 20 extra help is a must. The game tells you to play it under Manual Setting but that can cause you many problems, so play this under YARD when coupling and on longer runs use ROAD as then you will not crash into any train and will save you a lot of points and keep your percentage intact! Passenger trains, under AI, do make money, but also don't forget to collect logs and deliver them to the Sawmill, a very useful source of money regularly
After taking nearly 7 hours of playtime just to fully understand and figure out how the game works, I can say this is one of the best games when its comes to owning and operating a RR Company. The one main gripe I have with this game is the tutorial, It seems abit lacking in some aspects as there were many times during It I found myself looking up videos and guides on certain things that just aren't present in the tutorial.
Ich kann dieses Spiel einfach nur empfehlen. Egal ob im Singleplayer oder als Multiplayer. Es macht einfach Spaß die Züge zu bewegen und die Strecken wieder auzubauen.
almost 2000 hours of total game time, and the game and the devs have never ceased to impress with the progress that we all as a community have watched over the last two years, I'm very excited for the future of the game.

I think this game has an interesting and fun concept, I would love to play but the graphics and the UI really need some attention. The overall graphics, lighting, and anti-aliasing really look very basic and the performance was not smooth on a $3000 Alianware purchased in 2025. The interaction with all the interface and functions in game also really feels like using Windows 98 with a theme pack. It's not organic and intuitive, but a clutter of settings without proper visual cues suggesting where to find what. It might be a good idea for the developer to hire a UI/UX designer so the interaction, menus, and information presented within the game can be presented more organically. Also, I do not know why the multiplayer mode doesn't even have a chat function. Even though people can use Discord, the game should provide a basic text function for people to fall back to in public multiplayer sessions. I am requesting a refund now and hopefully when I come back a year later it'll be better.
Bought Railroader on release and refunded it after an hour or two ... to complicated. Bought the game again this week after I've seen some YT vids from Kerbo. I learned a few things from the vids and started the game without the tutorial and teach myself a way through. After a few hours the game really opened up and atm 30 hours in and this is all I want from a train (sim) game. Freedom and tasks that matters to keep your company growing. And above all steam era, couldn't ask for anything more. Cheers.
