RAGE 2 brings together two studio powerhouses – Avalanche Studios, masters of open world insanity, and id Software, creators of the first-person shooter – to deliver a carnival of carnage where you can go anywhere, shoot anything, and explode everything.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

RAGE 2 is a decent game with flaws that doesn’t live up to it’s full potential. There is a lot to like here and an equal amount that feels half-baked and unfinished. It’s clear the developers were a bit too ambitious with this one and instead of focusing on the core gameplay they stretched themselves thin trying to do too much. That said, the combat is awesome. The guns feel powerful and there are some crazy weapons you can discover and unlock as you scour the wasteland. Every weapon has an upgrade tree so you can tailor them to your specific gameplay style. You also have abilities you can unlock as the game progresses that help you out in combat. These also have skill trees and every ability has upgrades. The downside to this is the upgrade mechanics and skill trees are convoluted and a bit tricky to understand. You need different types of resources and unlocks to upgrade each one. Some upgrades are schematics you must purchase from traders found in the wasteland. Resources themselves can be stingy and tough to come by, which makes sense for a barren wasteland but doesn’t translate into fun gameplay. The main story missions are pretty short and there isn’t a whole lot of variety. You can beat the game rather quickly, though I spent most of my time roaming the wasteland and fighting bandits and mutants which was enjoyable. The voice acting is solid and the cut scenes are well done, especially the intro. It makes you wish there was more content story-wise. I ran into a handful of bugs, none game-breaking but still annoying. Like having to play a mission twice after I already beat the boss because I took the wrong elevator and got stuck in the basement, to getting clipped through the ground and into the netherworld repeatedly (looking at you Sandworm). The ending was pretty lame. It was a bit anti-climactic and felt abrupt, like they couldn’t decide what direction to go next so they just ended it. Overall if you are an FPS fan then RAGE 2 is worth a play. It’s a fun shooter that just never quite reaches the apex it strives for.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 16: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Feels like this game was made by 10 year-olds who watched Rage 1 and tried to recreate it. Gameplay is fun but repetitive because all dungeons and bosses are copy-paste of the same 3. Whoever wrote the dialogue needs to be punished physically.
honastly it was a decent game. i did enjoy it alot but once you do the main questline it gets kind of stalle and there is alot of dlc packs. see this NORMALY would be fine BUT this damn games makes you buy SEPREATE CURRANCY for dlcs but base game is decent.
this game should have been WAY more popular. its fun, million things to do, tons of updates, firefights are great. i dont get it. i liked this a lot.
They saw the first game...
... and then took everything the original had, pumped it up by a factor of 2 with the aspiration to make twice as good of a game. Larger map, more upgrades, more vehicles, more enemies, more ways to express yourself, more of EVERYTHING that was in the first game. This isn't RAGE 2 as much as it is Twice the RAGE.
They never realized the first game was HEAVILY flawed
By following that formula the developers have also only exacerbated all of the things that didn't actually work in the first game. RAGE 2 doesn't do anything outright badly, at worst some of its systems are middling. However the total sum of good or even great elements a great game does not make. This is a game that feels more like a skinnerbox in a shooter disguise than a fully fledged experience worth spending your time on. Just like the first game, the whole overworld is entirely superfluous and is just a means to get from shooty bits to shooty bits. The start of the game is incredibly dull as you have to unlock your weaponry and the inevitable upgrade trees which this time around have been clocked up to like 7 different currencies, numerous upgrade paths and trees for your character, weapons, vehicles, special abilities, crafting and god knows what else. All of it is so overwhelming and just overall... not fun... Staring at menus is not fun. Majority of the game is spent not doing anything fun, which is completely counter-intuitive to how the game seems to try to pitch its entire identity as - a completely over the top open world high-action shooter with vehicular combat. Over the top it is, but for every high-action fight you get about 10 minutes of staring at the map screen and driving around in a vehicle that doesn't even control all that well. The vehicles are servicable, but they simultaneously have too many mechanics and are also just too simplistic to properly enjoy on their own. Speaking of not controlling well, I am really not sure if this is an issue on my end, but the basic grounded movement just feels off - you accelerate just a bit too slow, but come to a halt instantly, the crouch slide feels "sticky". The mouse sensitivity while driving a vehicle is halved for no reason, so I guess screw you if you play on low sensitivity and want to look behind you. Mouse movement and key input feels just ever so slightly delayed, not enough to make the game unplayable or frustrating on its own, but just barely over the threshold to where it's noticeable and makes everything feel just ever so slightly off. I have not played enough to say much about the story, but the opening of the game is just all kinds of weird. It starts off where the first game left off (or if you have played the first game, it just like... just stopped existing), immediately introduces our big bad, then proceeds with dialog that is neither serious nor wacky enough for me to care in the slightest, it's stuck somewhere right in the middle of being tonedeaf, and frankly at times, just cringe. A "highly important character" gets introduced with all the colours of the rainbow flying across your screen and then not even 2 minutes later this character is killed off in a cut-scene. None of it feels right, none of it has any emotional weight behind it, it's just an overly dramatic moment because that's what the game decided it needs now. With an opening like that, especially for a sequel to a game that clearly didn't have its story finished, I find it very hard to press myself into even giving any attention as to why or even what is happening,
💥 RAGE 2 - 184 Hours of Blowing Stuff Up and Zero Regrets
What I Played: I went in expecting a decent shooter to kill a weekend. Nearly 185 hours later I've cleared every Ark, maxed out every Nanotrite ability, hunted down every Crusher nest, and I'm still loading it up to just drive around the wasteland looking for trouble. This game grabbed me by the throat and never let go. The Good:

The gunplay is genuinely some of the best I've ever felt in an open world game. id Software's DNA is all over this — the shotgun alone is worth the price of admission. Slam into a group of Goon Squad, pop Shatter, shotgun the survivors, chef's kiss. The combat loop never got old even after triple-digit hours.
Nanotrite abilities turn you into an absolute wrecking ball. Stacking Slam with Overdrive while everything around you explodes in pink mist is the kind of power fantasy most games promise but never deliver. I spent hours just experimenting with ability combos.
The open world is way more fun to just exist in than people give it credit for. Mutant bash TV, convoy chasing, random bandit camps — there's always something to shoot within 30 seconds of driving in any direction.
The vehicle combat clicks once you get the Phoenix upgraded. Plowing through roadblocks at full speed with rockets firing never stopped being satisfying.
The Bad:

The main story is paper thin. The three quest givers are fine but the actual plot connecting everything is basically "go do stuff because wasteland." After a while I just stopped caring about why and focused on the how.
The open world can feel samey in spots. Some of the locations blur together, and you'll clear your 40th bandit den wondering if you've been here before. The combat carries it, but more environmental variety would've helped.
The inventory and upgrade menus are clunky. Too many currencies, too many nested screens. I shouldn't need a spreadsheet to figure out what upgrades what.
Verdict: Recommended - Look, if you want a deep narrative RPG, this ain't it. But if you want to feel like an unstoppable force of destruction with some of the tightest FPS combat on the market, RAGE 2 delivers in spades. 184 hours don't lie — I came for the carnage and I stayed for the carnage. Just turn your brain off, crank the volume up, and enjoy the chaos.
It's no wonder every game comes out ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ broken - games this size need 10 years of patches and love before they are good to release. This got it's 10 years of patches and now has become a great game!
Awesome game: gameplay, shooting mechanics, graphics - everything's great. And all missions are constant action with no fluff.
